There are 4 units in each theory subject. In midsem 1, first 2 units are covered, and for midsem 2, latter 2 units are covered. Midsem 1 happens after 6 weeks from commencement of semester. Midsem 2 happens 4 weeks after midsem 1 exams. Midsem 2 is immediately followed by internal practical exams, which is followed by external practical exams. And after a week from external practical exams, there is endsem exam. Curriculum is from GGSIPU and it is common for all colleges afilliated with GGSIPU.

Placement Experience

3

4th year students are eligible for campus placements. there are many students who get pre placement offers (ppo) after their internship only. Usual companies lke TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture comes here for 4-7 LPA packages. Then there are companies like DeShaw which offered a person 54 LPA package too.

Campus Life

4

The campus life totally depends on the friends you make. Since this college is in Delhi, the entire Delhi is yours to explore. Fests in other Delhi colleges like DTU's Engifest, NSUT's Moksha, IGDTUW's Taarangana, DU colleges like SRCC's crossroads, Hindu's Mecca. MAIT's techfest is TnM (Techsurge and Mridang), which usally happens in March - April.

Admission

For my JEE rank, i got perfect college. I was getting Biotech in DTU and NSUT, and was also allotted BSc Computer Science at Hansraj College, Delhi University. ADmissions at MAIT is from the IPU Councelling System, and it is done from the JEE MAINS rank.

Faculty

3

There are 60 students in a batch. In branches like cse, where there are around 360 students, there are 6 batches of 60 students. While in branches like cse with specialisation, the branch itself is just 1 batch of 60 students. The exams are totally on the university, that is GGSIPU. All the exam papers, including midsem and endsem papers comes from there. There are around 10 subjects (theory and practical are considered separate subjects) in a semester. Each subject is of 100 marks, 60 marks are from endsem exam, 40 marks are internal, and depends on midsem exam, attendance, assignments, projects, etc. Also, there are 2 midsem exams :(

Night Life

1

The nightlife of college is really bad. The location itself becomes really unsafe at night. There are no explorable place near the college. There is a gym but only for hostel students. The hostel is also only for boys. Girls have to find their PG. So pretty dull nightlife.

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.
