Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate it like 8 out of 10.I chose this course mainly because it offered a good blend of theoretical foundations and technical subjects, especially programming and problem-solving. Interactive teaching methods Less chalk-and-talk, more discussions, simulations, and live coding sessions. Skill-oriented electives – Include modern tools like Git, Docker, cloud platforms, etc.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placenta after their 7th semester or we can say at the beginning at their 4th year. In 2024, more than 150 companies visited my college and providing more than 1200 offers for students. Tech Giants: Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Adobe, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, TCS Others: Nykaa, Oracle, Vedanta, Oyo Rooms These companies offered roles across various domains, including software development, data analytics, consulting, core engineering, and more. The highest package last year was 64.28LPA and the lowest one was 4.20 LPA. And the average package was 12.68LPA The percentage for placement of students is 75.16 with 590 of 785 students were placed. My plans are to get a good job and work there for a small period then to study for other exams like UPSC.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise info fees may differ according to your reservation but for general it is approximately 2 lakh rupees. It includes everything that is mentioned above. As for SC it can be equivalent to 1 lakh. Mostly the scholarship is provided to the people who have a low income or have some financial issue (they have a slight advantage than others).

Techspardha (Technical Fest) – Held in February A platform for showcasing technical talents with events like coding contests, robotics, hackathons, and paper presentations. Literati (Literary Fest) – Held in October Celebrates oratory, debating, creative writing, and quizzes. These fests attract participation from colleges across India and offer immense exposure. Range of Books and Journals 1. Print Resources Over 1,14,000+ books in science, engineering, technology, management, and humanities. Back volumes of journals: About 17,000+ bound volumes of old issues of journals. Theses & dissertations: Access to PG and PhD research work done within the institute. 2. Journals Subscriptions to national and international journals in both print and electronic format. Access to top publications through consortia like INDEST-AICTE and e-ShodhSindhu. Facilities are good in classroom. They have digital smart boards in many classes, projectors and some other things. They also have seminar rooms and other rooms specially for some occasion for study. The seating and infrastructure is also good. For sports and other activities my college is very good. In first year you have to attend all the sports lecture and it is mandatory for all first year students. In this shorts valid we have to run to a certain period of time and do some exercise. They also provide good equipment for different sports and they have good grounds for sports. Yes, student life at NIT Kurukshetra is full of energy, thanks to the many student-run clubs and groups. From cultural clubs like Mudra (dance) and Raagam (music) to tech clubs like Webarch and SAE Accelerons, there’s something for everyone. These clubs organize events, workshops, and competitions that make campus life vibrant and exciting.
Hostel Facilities
In the room there is a simple tubelight and a fan and they also provide you with a almira and a bed to sleep and for the internet the they have lan in every room of the hostel. Their menu is great but the meal quality is bejiye average in the first year hostels. The registration process is simple and easy and the fee is a little costly but affordable. If you're staying in a rented room or PG near NIT Kurukshetra, a common and convenient locality is Amin Road. It's close to the campus and popular among students for its affordable PGs and rooms.
Admission
I asked about this college from many people who have good knowledge about engineering and according to my marks this was the best college I could have chosen. I get rejected from a few college because I didn't have the qualification for them or you can say my score was low for their college. For getting admission in NIT you have to take a exam called JEE-MAINS and you have get a good rank in this exam.
Faculty
A few faculty are look wise not approachable but most of the faculty members are good. There was a teacher who taught us c programming who was good. I didn't like the staff of finance education because of their strictness. There are 2 semester in a year. 2 mid sem and 1 end sem per semester so you have 6 times exam in a year. Very few people fail in these exam.
Night Life
Cafeteria and gym are not available at night but library is open for 24 hours and public areas also closes at night. The campus timing is from 5:am too 10:00 pm for boys and for girls they have to get into hostel before 8:30pm. You can get out of the hostel at any time(only boys) and hang out with your friends in campus. It is completely safe to roam at night .
