Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum in the upcoming time is very useful as the everything in the coming years require energy and electricity so that's why electrical engineering is one of the most demanding thing in the upcoming time. the teaching method is good and course curriculum is also okay. The frequency of exams are also okay accordingly. There are two semesters in a year and two exams in each semester, midsem and endsem. The toughness of the exam is according to the branch.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships opportunities are available accordingly, like SDE, product analyst, etc available in different big companies like google, deshaw, winzo, blackrock,JP Morgan, Deloitte, etc. These companies offer PPO to students in campus.

Placement Experience

4

A student can get internship from first year but it is off campus, after third year on campus internships are offered from different different big companies and on campus placements are also offered after 7th semester and many big companies like google, microsoft, Deshaw, Cisco etc comes and offeres placement. Around 60-70% of the students get placed in this recession time, the ratio used to be very high. The highest package is 1 cr and the average is around 20 lpa. My plan is to prepare for the placements and get a good on campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 240000 for first year and 10000 increase for every next year. There are compensation in fees for different categories accordingly. This yearly fees which i mentioned includes all the fees, which is means for the rest of the year you have to pay nothing. Scholarship is also available but mainly for SC/ST/OBC students. A general scholarship is available for toppers, i.e. students who got in top 5% of the students of their respective branches in a particular year got tution fees wavier.

Campus Life

4

The annual fests are Resonanz, Moksha- one of the biggest fest of North India, Inovassion- tech fest. The library contains all the required books by the students and accessible by everyone easily. Smart classrooms are provided to first years, and many smart classrooms are in construction for the seniors and many are already built. Classrooms are very good. Sports and extracurricular activities is also decent. There are many clubs and societies run by students which really impact lives of the students in term of placement and overall development.

Admission

I got NIT Manipur mechanical and also other NITs but the branch was not that good, also getting DTU EP and ME but than I thought that NSUT's electrical would be better and it is. Admission into this college is only through JEE mains, if you are domicile of Delhi then you got some reservations in NSUT and DTU and it makes a little bit easy for you to get admission here, but if you are not from Delhi then the cutoffs are very high.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is very qualified, proffersors from different well educated fields also teach here. The course structure and tha curriculum is also very relevant accordingly. There are two exams in each semester, midsem and endsem and sometimes CT also, the ratio of faculty is also good and they are very reachable by the students, if you ask for time they will give you. The nature of majority faculty is good.

Night Life

3

The nightlife is okay types because hostellers are not allowed to roam outside after 11 pm, college library and canteens also got closed after 11 pm. But there are many facilities available near the campus for night life. The locality is safe to roam around at night, and majority of the students live in nearby pg and flats which makes it more lively and safe. One of the biggest malls Vegas is located around 1 km distance from the college and many more things

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
