Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is perfect based on the department, as an AIML student, in the second year, we've gotten into the core part of course. We got introduced to AI and ML. We had data structures and software engineering too. Difficulty level of exam depends on the subject.
Internships Opportunities
There are multiple companies that come, like for instance, we have cognizant etc.. Coming to internships, there are various companies, some students get their own internships, so the company list is a bit vast. There is one real time project in the 2nd sem of your 2nd year. And many more in coming years.
Placement Experience
For the placements we have a TPO cell, for preparing the students for placements we have CRT (Campus Recruitment and Training) class every week. Students become eligible for placements once they are in their 4th year. The highest package so far is 54 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees that I am paying for the course is 55,000 per year. The actual course fee for all the courses is 90,000. I am getting a fee reimbursement of 35,000 from the government. I am getting feeling reimbursement under the EWS section.
Campus Life
Annual and tech fests are usually named as AAROHAN. The events are usually held in the month of May. We have a library which consists of all the books based on the department. They are all divided into department wise. We have big playground, the sports are cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, basketball etc. There are many clubs, we've NSS initiatives too.
Admission
The other college which I applied was for Samskruti under CSE branch. But I really wanted to pursue my education in AIML field. I got AIML in KPRIT, hence I Chose it. I applied for other colleges too, couldn't make it due to the cut off. I got admission via TS EAMCET counselling. EAMCET is highly preferred.
Faculty
Almost all the faculty of my department are approachable, they appreciate it when you ask them for doubts. There are a total of 2 mid exams, 1 end sem exam and lab internal and lab external. Usually in each sem, one subject is really hard and the others are usually doable.
Night Life
My favourite hang out spot in my college is the basketball court, it's where everyone comes to relax and sometimes bunk too. The campus timings are, you should be in the campus by 9:30 AM, the closing time is 4:20 PM. It is safe to hangout as long as you are INSIDE the campus.
