Likes
- The college is surrounded by natural beauty all around
- The Lecture halls are good. Attendence scene is fine
- I feel like the food shops available around the college provide good food at reasonable prices
Dislikes
- The placements are just very bad and not upto the mark and also there is just no efforts being made by the Placement Officer whoever gets placed gets placed in their own
- Some faculties are hard to deal with like the most.
- Most of the people I found there had bad habits of smoking and all in my hostel like the students and the warden was comfortable with it
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of Electronics and Communication engineering was just too irrelevant to the modern world demands.We did not get to learn programming in detail and also the electronics part we were just not taught the right way
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for our batch was 73040 per semester excluding the message fee but you know mess was compulsory for 1st and 2nd year students and it was around 15000 per semester so you have to pay it in the first two years. We get a MCM scholarship which is awarded to know I guess 20 percentage of the batch size for 1st year and then decreases by 5 percentage every year. The thing is there is just no scholarship purely on income basis as most of the people qualify for this scholarship because the thresold income is around 800000 per year which most of the students qualify.
Campus Life
I liked the natural landscape of the college and the infrastructure it's good and bad as well.It depends in which hostel you are staying like the first year guys get the coolest hostel and final year guys the worst
Admission
I chose this college and I regret this till today I saw the placement reports of the college and in report it was just very nice stats so I chose the college but when I got to college I got to know the real truth. My honest advise do not join the college if you are looking to get a decent placement
Faculty
The faculty members they are just very rude to you for no reason.The course structure consists of my id semester and final semester exams and two quizes in between like Quiz1-Mid sem-Quiz2-End sem. Marking scheme varies teacher to teacher but most of them have very harsh marking scheme.
Night Life
The canteens are open till 12 or max till 2 .The gym is ok ok .The in timings are 10:00 pm for both campus and hostel and I would strongly inform you that you should not go out at night even outside of your hostel as many a times lepords have been found and wild boar it's very common
