The place is one of the best to live and spend 4 years of your lives. One can go trekking on mountains and also enjoy rare snowfall in campus. Situated along the river Uhl, it provides a serene and peaceful place.

The curriculum is multidisciplinary as required in today’s time. The courses are in depth and also include recent advancements. There are 2 tests and a final exam each semester each having a pre decided weight.

Yes the placements are good and the college also provides internships. I haven’t been part of it yet. But many big companies visit the college including Microsoft, Codenation, Amazon, Directi, Goldmann Sachs.

Starting with Freshers Party and Aakarshan, these introduce freshers to the cultural clubs of the college. Independence Day and Republic Day events are also hosted. Utkarsh Technical Fest is hosted for the inter year participation. Exodia Inter College Tech and Cult Fest is the biggest Fest of its kind in the region.

The fee depends on parental income, hence feasible. For girl students, there is no tution fee. Similar for those and less that 1 lac annual family income. For annual income more than 5 lacs, the fee is 2.4 lacs per annum.

MCM Scholarship is given to General and OBC students having parental income less than 4.5 lacs per annum. It waived off the tuition fee of the student and also includes a stipend of 1000 Rs. per month.

Everything is available and really good. Smaller community means better interaction and activities. Labs are at par with older IITs with all the required items. There is a big field for cricket and football and indoor halls for other games.

Rs. 18500 Per semester includes everything. Hostel room, bed, curtains, cupboards, electricity, water, mess food, washrooms, washing machines and dryers. There is water cooler and RO water filter. Study rooms and common rooms in each hostel.

The network is 10 years old and is very helpful. Spread across the world, the alumni can be contacted via social media or LinkedIn. There are referral groups and also alumni interactions regularly and they visit campus.

The first step is to fill the JEE Main form. And prepare well. Next appear in the exam and ace it. On qualifying, appear in JEE Advanced and score well. The rank should be less than 2200. Then you appear for counselling and get the college.

Faculty is quite experienced and up to date. They are also very easily approachable which is not possible in many colleges. There are visiting faculties from older IITs and also abroad who take up courses for a semester.
