Likes

See the things i like is the night life of vit pune it has greenery a calm nature
Also the events the events are very good the main events are good as well as the crowd is great
Also i liked that the library it has a big library that has good amount of books that u need

Dislikes

I disliked the placement stats of the current yewr it was less than the other colleges in pune like i am considering the top colleges
The thing that i dislike is some subjects that are not related to my field at all they are being taught
Also the last thing is small campus whether it is small great but still it must have been greater

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is great related to our course various things to explore like robotics coding etc it is great it prepares for real world problems find application based problems and etc the areas of important is some subjects that are not related the frequency is presentations projects etc many things so u will be for sure busy .

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So the fees system is not that big it consist of different categories having different fees i am from spot round so i have to pay the fees of general category my friends are from cap round so they can avail any scholarship benefits if necessery so thats the scene about the fees structure my friends are from different caste so they get different benefits

Campus Life

The campus life is good because it contains events as well as club life ifs good various clubs various events u meet new poeple bond with them project coordination and many more things the night l8fe is good u can join any commites there are muns speaker sessions u will not get bore here

Admission

Because see i got admission in spot roujd its not about other colleges see it is a good college overall placements stats are good just due to intake it is decreasing that is the issue the admission process is smooth through jee cet u have to be in top 1 percwnt of kids to get here so yeah it is good no no rejections

Faculty

The student to faculty ratio is less because there are many students so the relationship see it depends on u react with teachers they are approachable some may be rude but most of them are approachable i cant name any teachers because then people may keep a opinion that may differ persoj to person exams are mid sem and end sem like the old version mid sems are online for fy end sem consist of coding labs as well

Night Life

The nightlife as mentioned is great bwcause i like calmness at night the college closes at 9 now the lectures are concluded at 6 but like from 6 to 9 the various clubs do their intro meets and vario8s other things during event days the college is decorated well and safety precautions are taken over all

As out batch is of 2024 Covid batch there has been no such placement occurred but after that the ratio has increased

Life of a mech_engineer at VJTI

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission. It could be less if you have alll required documents and fees has been already paid using mean like dd....Read More
