Course Curriculum Overview

Around 37 courses are available in our college, and currently I'm pursuing in BTech CSE. I always recommend everyone that do not take admission in BTech in this college, but The management course is also too good

Campus Life

Yearly, one program is organised our college in this event. Many sports are organised bye the college like cricket, football, volleyball, and e-sports like Free Fire, BGMI. 2 libraries are available in our college and most books are not available, and the faculty of our library is so poor. I share some personal experience - I collected a book from my library in the end of 2023 and I deposited this book in first of 2024, then after a long time (2025) they said I didn't deposit this book

Admission

I got 40000 in JEE, and I want to take admission in BTech. This college is near my house, and this college does not take any donations. Admission is an easy process.

Faculty

In our campus aproscimatly 360 faculty and around 76 visiting faculty and in our class we r around 120 students, The faculty are so good and experienced, most of students love Rahul Shaym he is our mentor and he try tho solved all problems of any student, The exam of our college is very diffecult and up to 70 % students are get backlog

Night Life

Gym are available in our campus,and the gym are very good,the faculty is so good,the hostel are too good but the hostel food are not very good,the price of mill is not satisfied Our campus are soo beautiful

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

The minimum placement opportunities of our college is good . If you are in good in aptitude, Group discussions and your CV and technical skills are strong then you can easily crack a 7-10lpa job from our college. Overall our college provides decent opportunities for our placements but you need to maintain certain GPA to sit on those placements

TAKE A LOOK TO GCECT

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester we are eligible for the internship, also we can apply for both on campus and off campus placements. In our college some companies like Geotech, Infosys, Code Clouds, Unibit solutions visit every year. Average package is in the range of 3.5-5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is nearly 6-7Lpa. But post covid time our placement record decreased a bit. Nearly about 80-85% of CSE students get placed every year. Also I am currently appearing in interview of different companies for placement.

A Nurturing Place to Learn and Thrive

I decided to take up Clinical Psychology over Applied Psychology for my Master's. I searched for colleges and Universities near my home town Durgapur. Most of the colleges offer an M.A. or M.Sc. in Applied Psychology. NSHM Durgapur and Kolkata offer M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology.
