Course Curriculum Overview

5

The focus on core subjects and career aligned electives influenced my choice. The curriclum builds a solid foundation but needs ,more real world and industry oriented content. Updates to include current trends, hands on learning, and more engaging teaching methods are needed. Exams are held regularly with reasonable timing, though they often emphasized memorization over application.

Internships Opportunities

5

Competcanies like kolkata metro, PWD,TCS,wipro etc. offered internship role like construction management, autocad, layout plan, software developer for cse or IT etc.and stipends range from 5000-8000Rs. depending on compnay and role. Project included, making floor plan by autocad software, estimation & coasting of construction side. These hepls improve technical skills, teamwork, problem solving, with some project showcased in college fest or used in live environments.

Placement Experience

5

if the students are in final year and they passed 6 semester exam(in case of B,tech), they are eligible for campus placements. Several companies visited , including TCS, Infosys, wipro, R.D.C conctrete, Larsen & tourbo infrastructure and so on, some of them multiple offers across departments. The highest pakage is offered Rs.10LPA by Larsen&=tourbo infrastructure, wipro etc. and the average pakage is offered around Rs.4-5LPA across most companies. Approximately 70-75% of eligible students secured placements. After completing my degree, i plan to pursue a industrial job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees that i pay to the college is 130000Rs. I have given some data reagarding my structure below. year-wise college fee details. Tution fees(Included lab fees):- 45,425/- 45,,425/- 45,425/- 45,425/- Hostel fees:- 72,000/- 72,000/- 72,000/- 72,000/- Sudent development fees:- 9,075/- 9,075/- 9,075/- 9,075/- Student welfare and Sports & game:- 2,500/- 2,500/- 2,500/- 2,500/- Student life center fees:- 1000/- 1000/- 1000/- 1000/- The admission fees that i paid during admission in this college is 5000Rs. The total student in my calss is 60 but some of them(from my batch) and i have been given scholarship or financial aid of rupees1,44,000 from the college other wise we have to pay total tution fees(along with hostel) and other extra charges of rupees 6,64,000/-

Campus Life

5

The annual cultural fest NAVODYA is usually held in march, and the technical fest KRITANJ TECHNO MANAGEMENT FEST takes place around january or february. The library has a decent range of textbooks and reference materials, but access to updated journals is limited. Classroom are equipped with basic tech like projectors and Wi-Fi. The campus offers sport like crickets, football, badminton, volleyball along with the various cultural technical events. There are active student run clubs and portals that enhance engagement, skill development and peer networking.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel rooms are typically furnished with bed, study table, chair, cupboard, wi-fi, fan and basic lighting some hostel also provide laundry facilities. Meals are decent but repetitive. The meni includes basic indian meals like rice, roti, dal, and seasonal vegetable. Quality is average and varies by day. The hostel registration process is simple and usually done online/offline during admission, Fees are moderate and include accomodation and mess charges. if staying off campus popular pg/locality options areas like colony market, kamrhati, agarpara known for being student friendly, affordable and well connected to the campus.

Admission

I applied to few other colleges and got confirmed admission in baktiyarpur college of engineering and maulana abul kalam azad patna, but i choose this college due its reputation, course structure, adn location covenience. yes, i was rejected by one college(Aligarh muslim university) due to lower entrance exam score, because of limited preparation time i have. The admission process invoved meeting the eligibility criteria (12th grade with required subject ), and entrance through exams like wb-jee. The most preferred exam was jee-mains and cutoffs varies each year. The overall process was smooth and well-organized.

Faculty

5

The faculty to studenty ratio is manageable, allowing for decent interaction. Most faculty members are apporachable and supportive. All the faculty members are good but some of them is excellent who support me and my batchmate most in every time in case of semester exam, any events and help for making project and the teching way of them is different then other, they use real world example during teaching, the teachers are dr. abhipriya haldar, Anasuya mondal, somvic sharma and so on. There are four exam happens in my college every year, two is internal exam and remaining two is semester exam, it is easy for them who read and practise the problem of all the notes which is given by the faculty then they have chances to pass the exam with higher SGPA,if they don't ,less chance to pass the exam. The course curriculum relevent, updated to better reflect current industry practices and real world applications.

Night Life

5

The gym, library, and cafeteraias close by 5pm while public areas operated until 6pm. Hostel in time is generally for boys 8pm and for girls 6pm and the main campus closes by 10pm for security reasons. Popular hangouts sports on campus include the central lawn, canteen area, and student activity zones. Outside the college, students often visit nearby cafe, mall and parks like vishal mall, domino's etc. The locality is faily safe to roam around at night, but it's advised to be cautious and avoid isolated areas late in the evening.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- The BCA cirrcuam at THE HERITAGE ACADEMY covers fundamental programming, Database management, and web development which are essential for a career in IT. - The syllabus is moderately relevant but some topics feel outdated. While programming and project based learning help in skill building more industry oriented course like AI, cloud computing, and Data science should be include. - Areas for improvement 1.more hands on training and internship opportunity should be introduced 2.Some subject focus too much on theory rather than practical application 3.Advanced technologies and industry trends should be integrated into the syllabus. Exam system & Difficulty: - 4 exam per semester - PPT Presentation, Report writing, MCQ test, written test then the Final semester Exam -Difficulty level moderate
