What Students Say
Likes
- There is no such thing as 75% attendence unlike other colleges, but just marks for it.
- The teachers and professors are somewhat good, cooperative as well.
- There's always something going on in the college like fests or any event.
Dislikes
- College campus is quite small, needs some improvement.
- Classes for evening college is like those of primary govt schools.
- Few teachers, not all but like 1/10 are sometimes egoistic
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well planned, keeping almost every required aspect required for that field / course. But sometimes it's the teacher that often forgets few things. Few teachers teach us like they're really enjoying it while others teach us like just because it's their job.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesn't provide any internship opportunities but one can join societies that are available with in the college, through which you can join internships as you're wanting to and if Lucky can get a part time job as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
Sri Aurobindo college fee structure for BA.prog Yearly it takes about 6000/- and that's the same for each year but can vary for different courses, although it takes examination fees for each semester and it ranges from 1200-2000 apart from this, there isn't any other charges . There's no fees increament as of now,it's always the same.
Campus Life
College life wasn't good in here, but wasn't bad either. But since there was no issue ofattendance we were free to explore, enjoy and learn the various aspects of real World . There are often fests and events going on in the college, infrastructure wasn't good in the beginning but later few changes were made.
Admission
Well I applied for various universities & colleges some of them are BHU, Jamia ,JNU and various other big names . I had the joining letter of BHU but didn't join it as I wanted to be here in Delhi and experience the real world.
Faculty
The faculty members at the college, almost all of them are good except for a few. Some professors are good, cooperative and understanding as well but a few of them often doesn't cope up with the students. The marking scheme has 2 parts 70 marks for practical and CA And 90 marks of theory.
Night Life
Nightlife at Delhi is a different world experience, but it's on you to which way you're going to.... either you enjoy or get into trouble. Since there isnt any hostels in our college we all live in rented flats & apartment and PG's.few places in the Delhi or around the college are safe but can be concerning sometimes.
