Teacher are very good with their students and helping in nature

Course Curriculum Overview

English is subject for which i choose this course it's help me to make real life communication better in english as english is worldwide language which help us to communicate in other country everything is alright in this curriculum but include more novel so students take more interest or play drama in that language ..timing of exam is 3 hrs which is appropriate

My yearly fees is 30,000 which include all my tuition fees , registration fees and all others fees needed in my course .. one of my friend is from general category his yearly fees is 40,000 and one friend is from sc his fees is 15000 yearly

Campus Life

Diwali fest and holi fest and whenever their is new batch mate their is festival to welcome them and farewell party to farewell them ..everyone is very supporting .. technology is not as per their standard And their are many extracurricular activities offered in my college in sports and music .. manu students got opportunity to run their culbs and portals

Admission

I applied in bhagat singh college and some more from du and got selected in shri Aurobindo college evening .. i got rejected in others because i didn't make up to their eligibility ranking .. admission process of my college is very simple they have declare their merit list as per marks their are 8 merit list got issued and in last 3 i got selected because my marks are not that much good to get admission in other college

Faculty

Faculty are good and they are approachable to their students and also they are very helping in nature and one of the best faculty of our college is gaming faculty which is best to find out hidden talent in our students .their are many games which is played as state level in our college ..members are very helpful in all faculty

Night Life

Cafeterias are the best as no one from outside can enter in our college cafeteria and it is the best place to hangout with our friends and have some quality time with them. Outside their are many cafe where we can go to hangout with our friend like tikka junction and ccd

Kamala Nehru College: Where Opportunity awaits

Likes

I really liked the environment of the college as there was a diverse set of students coming from across the country.
The faculty was top notch and was very dedicated and knowledgeable. If we faced any issue they would come up to help us deal with it.
Also i liked the infrastructure of the college as they recently added a new building and have improved a lot in sports equipments and facilities.

Dislikes

The admin section of the college is very slow and it is a hassle to deal with them. Half a time they are either on a break or on lunch.
There is sometimes non availability of chairs in classrooms like there are approx 40 chairs in each classroom but if the strength of the class is more then we have to borrow it from the next classroom.
Also you will have to take up some additional course which sometimes feel unnecessary but its not only in this particular college but in all the colleges under University of Delhi.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Infrastructure of the college is very up-to-date.
College crowd is very active and diverse, giving opportunity to learn and explore.
Teachers are very well educated and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

Sports facilities at the college need to be improved.
Few teachers methods of teaching are traditional and outdated.
There is strict criteria for attendance, to maintain 66.7 percent

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Likes

Our placement services is efficient and effective which always comes up with quality companies in terms of employment and package.
We have solid infrastructure which includes medical rooms, basketball ground, main ground, fest ground etc.
Our faculties expert in their teaching of respective subject where the teaching method is technology based and mentorship quality is demand based

Dislikes

Our course curriculum is relevant but sometimes it lacks little practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

KMC in my words

Likes

I liked the environment and the crowd of the college, and also my professors. Like seriously they are so helpful and kind
Also what I like about this college is that it's liberal unlike other colleges of North campus
I love the ashoka lawn and the big ground in front of the gym

Dislikes

I hate the staff, especially the technical staff ( Ankita Jain ), I went to her with erp portal issue and she just didn't look after my issue properly and sent me away. It was totally unexpected. She must be removed from her position.
The canteen staff, I didn't like their behaviour
Some of the seniors are shit and not helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 9 out of 10. The reason is simple, whatever my professors teach and everything that is there in my syllabus is really helpful for my future. Not just that, they way lectures are delivered by the professors is just awesome

An idiot's guide around college

Likes

environment of my college is far better than all the other colleges I have been to, there is zero to none chances of there ever being something unsafe on campus
maintenance of my college is taken very seriously, in only my 1st month of attending college ii saw precautions being taken due to heavy flooding in the college campus
accessibility is one of the things in my college that is so serious and provided with such care that it feels weird when outside campus no such accessibility is not to be seen

Dislikes

there is little to no room for giving students relaxibility in situations of difficulty during talks of giving a leave or not

philosophy as va discipline covers mostlt all the subjects related to humanities, it'll widen your knowledge and you thinking abillity more than that of a oridinary student, the job market is quite difficult for this course

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Likes

College provides a free environment for sports.
It is ragging free college and many anti ragging laws are here
One of the best features of our college is it in origanising seminar time to time.

Dislikes

There is a issue in time table uncertain classes are a problem for us
So high attendance criteria makes us in trouble.
There are not hostal facility which make a critical situation.

I chose the course because I want to become ias.approximately 100students in class . . Many proofesser are highly educated like PhD ma etc our faculty offers many opportunities.There are 6 semester in 3 years and 2 in each year .it is normal to crack the exam but hard to get High marks

Ramjas the heaven on earth

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.

Not my first choice, but not a Bad one either

I wanted to have a college that should allow me free time for my UPSC prepartion and coachings and a part time job as well. So accordingly Sri Aurobindo fits well to it. When I compare it to other colleges I had applied to, the differences are quite noticeable. Day colleges definitely have a more vibrant campus life. In contrast, the evening setup here is quieter and more functional, with students mostly attending classes and heading back. Academically, though, the gap isn’t as wide as one might assume. The curriculum is the same across Delhi University. As for the admission process, it was fairly straightforward thanks to Delhi University’s centralized system. I have applied all the colleges of Delhi university because I have given c u e t which means common University entrance test so after the completion and admission process started I had a preference this college at my number 32. No I didn't get a direction from other colleges my marks in the cuet exam was 532 out of 800 and I belong to general categories so far it's very hard for the general category student to get admission in a very good course and very nice colleges so far I didn't get the rejection and after normalisation my school gets to low I think after normalisation my core gets detected around 100 marks. As far away you have discussed that I have entered in the college through see you it which means common University entrance test so after clearing that exam I need to login in the du portal after that I have preference the colleges according to my level so it's not tough it's a very easy if you will clear your concept of class 12 exams or subjects....Read More
