Remarks

The college is great and there is a quality eduction in less fees and good infrastructure and fine labs and there are too many chances for students to get success through this college. There is a central library.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a deemed to be University and comes under central government. So in the paper the question comes from the syllabus which is available in the college website and teacher teaches us.My course is electrical engineering.

Placement Experience

The placement is good. Our college provides internship in various companies.The various companies names are TCS,Mahindra ,Honda etc. There are many companies who come here every year placed the college students.

College Events

Yoga day, Ghandi jayanti,15 August, 26 jaunary, 5 June ,5 September teachers day , 20 August Longowal jayanti ,and there are many other functions which are celebrated here in full of joy. And due to these the children get opportunity to go to stage.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible.Per semester fee with hostel is 29000 and 2500 for mess.The tution fee is 22500 . And the other fee like hostel fee is 2700 and 140 rs for insurance and Other charges like misc fee is 4000.

There are too many scholarship in this college like Tution fee wavier.This scholarship is given to those who get highest rank in the entrance and income is less than 6 lacs. Other scholarship are PMS PMSSS these scholarships are for minority community and Punjab Sc ategory.

Campus Life

There are too many extracurricular activities in the college. There are too many clubs like happy club sliet electrical socity etc which gives chance to many students to learn new things. And the labs are well furnished and whole things are available in the labs.

Alumni/Alumna

There is great alumni network. There are alumni meets every month in the college and outside the college. Many alumni comes and tell the students that how to get the jobs in the industry and about industry scenrio.

Admission

Firstly I fill the form and give the test to get admission in this college and after that result comes and I get admission on the basis of all India rank. After that there is a concling which I filled and get the admission.

Faculty

There are too many professor and associate professor who done their p.hd and doing their jobs here.The professers are written their own books and their own articles.There are quality professors in the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)

I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
