Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course particularly because I have interest in geography and my needs meet well with the course curriculum of my college It prepares well because subjects are quite relevant in day to day life Teaching methods could be improved and it should be made interactive with the students and written work could be managed Frequency and timing of exam are good ...not a major issue

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 15,650 rupees for a year and it included all the types of fees I am in general category that' why I paid this amount. Nd one of my friend who belongs to OBC paid around 14K..and for SCs ..it is around 13k

Campus Life

4

Last month we had ULLAS ..which is cultural fest and they typically held in Feb-March As I have told you.... library is the best Technological provisions and facilities are up to the mark Ooh .. extracurricular activities and sports provided are amazing... honestly I like it Clubs have overall a positive impact on student life because it helps in doing things other than academics

Admission

I have enrolled through CUET ...and I was hoping for Miranda House because of its geography department and I choose Kamla Nehru College because it's geography department is good next to Miranda. I couldn't make it upto Miranda because marks constraints Admission process in my college is through CUET.nd CUET is the most preferred way cutoff varies year by year. The overall admission process was well n good

Faculty

4

Exactly don't know about the ratio but there are less number of teachers in ratio to students I like Natasha Malhotra because her teaching style is best...she approaches very well and friendly too I don't think Aparna Rai because she is arrogant and She is too rigid nd not even try to understand problem which could be genuine There are.semester wise exams and questions asked were not too hard not too easy..

Interview Experience

5

I didn't had any kind of interview or written test as you have already knowing the process of CUET exam ...you might be knowing that there is no interview or written based admission...nd that's why I have no answer for the above questions

Night Life

3

I usually come after the college as such I have not experienced any of the questions properly Overall Delhi is not the safe place for female to wonder in the night forget about the vicinity of college campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

• The structure of the course was from basic to advanced. The structure made sure that all the basics are cleared specially for those who did not have psychology as a subject in class 12. • The course is well-tuned with the practical aspects that makes us better equipped for tackling real world problems. • Inclusion of field trips every semester should be implemented for better insight about the materials in the course. • Midterms are held in between our semester that is of moderate level that consists of 1 or 2 units, usually for 30 marks. The end semester exams are held at the end of the semester for around 90 marks which has higher level of difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was choosing this course in preference list I found it interesting to study the society, it's main aspect and concepts included in it . I read about Marx , max etc and found some interest in it . The curriculum does tell concept relevant information society but I feel like there is a lot of need to research in Indian societal concept and their work and interaction. Teaching method can be interesting, interactive rather than being boring concept reading in class

Placement Experience:

I feel every student needs to work hard on themselves first and equip themselves with skills which could land them a good placement. There are companies which are partnering with the college and admit interns and applicants by the end of the year. I personally have not applied for the internships or the placements but I intend to in the future.
