Course Curriculum Overview

4

The interdisciplinary approach of the curriculum was one of the main factors that influenced my decision to choose this course. It combines both theoretical and practical learning, which aligns well with my career aspirations. The inclusion of industry-relevant subjects and hands-on experience through projects, internships, and case studies made the course stand out. This aspect assured me that the program is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world challenges. The focus on skill development such as communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving was another important factor. These are not just academic skills, but life skills that are essential in any career.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are so many places in the internship but mostly they don't give stipend but you will learn a lot and meet resources person who encourage in all the way to make you a successful person in your life. There are so many roles like idel wing, museum, companies I have done my internship in Egmore museum and I got a wonderful experience doing a internship over there and learn a lot about the museum..

Actually Loyola college has so many occasions like ovation, culturals, sports day etc..and for history students per semester one local field trip inside the tamilnadu and the other one inside the India. The accessibility of books in library there are plenty of books available in the library really it's good for all the students and the PhD scholars also make thesis by using library and even the professors they make use of the library. In the classroom so many availablity highly qualified professors and well maintained classrooms and smart classrooms,etc.. They mainly focus in the sports and in the sports day all the department will have the matches and always history department is overall Campions There are social media groups for students and clubs like aicuf and etc...even they have alumni portal where you can meet your alumni and interact with and get a placement in all over the places.

In the room nothing will be there in down you can have normal water, cold, hot.and there is a block called A block there they provide ceiling fans and even Loyola hostel got AC rooms. Food is perfectly good healthy and hygienic well maintained dining rooms there are three mess( vegetarian, non-vegetarian, Metro) In metro you can get a north Indian food like noodles chapati, roasted full chicken,etc.. Admission

I have applied in voc College tuticorin, kamaraj college in tuticorin, Loyola college in chennai but I got in all the college and I chose Loyola over all colleges because it's in different place and different people and different atmosphere so I chose Loyola and I got easily because in Loyola arts department we can seats easily and moreover if you belong to SC/ST definitely you will because they are more willing to give seats for the people who are not able fet in other colleges

Faculty

5

The faculty-to-student ratio at Loyola College is well-balanced, allowing for personalized attention. The faculty members are always approachable and genuinely care about their students' academic progress. This creates an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance whenever needed. The faculty-to-student relationship is built on mutual respect and trust. Professors engage with students both inside and outside the classroom, offering mentorship and advice. The approachable nature of the faculty fosters a positive learning atmosphere, where students can easily reach out for academic or career-related queries.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides placement. At first they will conduct some training programme for those students who are all interested and paid fee for placements after that based on the performance of the students in the interviews they got selected. Companies like Accenture and many others come forward. The percentage of the students getting placed is depends on good performance. I planned to look forward for some jobs by cracking some exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the course provides almost everything which is needed and available. This is not a normal economics course as it involves statistics, python, core math and also dives into data science. This allows the students to explore various subjects and can choose which is their best fileld. The curriculum overall is very rigorous and intense but you can crack it if you study regularly. About the frequencies of the examinations, we have 2 internal examinations and 1 end semester examination. I can guarantee that this course is super rigorous but im not sure if i would necessarily say that the course is "practical" and it helps us in the real word. I cannot comment on the practicality of the courses. The exams are not super difficult and its moderate. Getting more than 90% can be challenging although clearing the paper won't be an impossible task.
