Internships Opportunities

4

Final year each and everyone compulsory doing intership you can apply by college or individually you can apply but its mandatory. This college ties up with many industries tech based and core based industries. The internship mostly for certificate and working experience. The intership happened in the 5 th semester the timing for the intership is one month in this mean time you no need to visit college you directly going the place where you do the interships and register your attendence through you student portal.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is little dull in this college due to students nature , most of the Students are move to higher education. They offer Placement in the final year if you are interested just apply for it. Moreover you can use the college brand name to get job opportunities outsides. My plan after completing my degree is move for post graduation and to clear any competitive examination. The highest placement in the college is upto 13lakh per annum. Its very decent for a arts amd science college. And this college provides more intership opportunities in the final year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two shifts run by college shift 1 and 2, (for science courses), shift 1 government aided so the fees structure is less than 25k per annum including semester, exam fees. And shift 2 is self finance provided by college management so the fees structure varies about less than 40k per annum. The fees structure varies from each course and each person and each year. The scholarships are also provided by the college who come from backward class.

Campus Life

Loyola ovation is main event in the college it happened in September month that is odd semester and conducted two days. This event includes celebrities speech, dance, act, music and so on... The library is very big and you access to get 3 books at a time. There is a digital library you can browse, search. All the department books are available in the library. The journals, thesis, magazines also available. The classroom contains projector to teach and smart class room, computer lab, with high tech facilities also there. There is big lab for science students. The campus is very big around 100acere there many blocks and each class you move to different buildings so you felt more free and not exhausted by sitting same class in whole day. This college club program is compulsory for everyone to get a degree total 60 hours you need to complete. There are more than 15 clubs in the college. You can choose the interested club by yiur student portal. The outreach program also there. Sports and extracurricular activities gives important. The sports available in the college is cricket, basketball, hockey , vollyball, running, throw ball. The indoors games like chess, carrom also available.

Admission

I applied two to three colleges in Chennai and l get call letters from all the colleges i applied but i choose this college because the main reason is traveling facilities and near to my home. And also it is one of the top colleges in India and nirf grade 8. This college maintains successful alumni list and create most famous personalities. This colleges provides suitable atmosphere to study amd grow. You need to apply the course you want and wait for the notification. They send you notification through maild and make your semester fee. They conduct inauguration programs for parents and students so you can get idea of your colleges life style. This college highly demands for some of the course so you must have hight cuttoff like above 90% or atleast 80% to get admission in this college. This college located in center of the city so you get all the transportation facilities.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculty members are phd holders and qualified NET, SET, Exams. They thought by you in English only and you need to make your own notes for examination. Faculties are just helping you and guide you. Most of the faculties are really humble , friendly, approachable and you ask freely whatever your doubts. Ultimately they just supporting you. The exam system is two internal and final semester exam, the internals coverted into 50 and final exam convert into 50 total100. You dont worry about the exam - easy to pass and easily get above 60% just follow important topics. The arrear students are asked to clear the arrear within 3 years. The curriculum is set by qualified professors. Apart from examination the staffs teach soft skills in the classroom like debate, group discussions, activities etc...

Night Life

There are three canteen in the college the foods are decent and sometimes better both veg an non veg are available. And more cafeteria available inside the campus. There is big hostel and im not hostler but i give some informations. There are three blocks in the hostle normal, advance and ac block you can register what most suitable for you. The hostel closed 10pm and you move freely around inside the hostel. There is a study hours in the hostle around 9pm to 10pm on that time you need to study without using mobile phones. The hostel foods there are three categories but everything includes nonveg. Veg with eggs , and sea foods, and fully nonveg. My favorite part is clock tower it is actually build in this year and church you can chill and enjoy the campus life.

Placement Experience:

My course is a five year course, so it had around 9 to 10 semesters as the first year had no semester. It was a non-semester. So first year had only one semester exam followed by all the other semesters other years at two semesters. From fifth year, students are eligible for campus placements During Covid time, our campus, Placement happened so companies visited are Shlok labs, some assignment writing company which is already closed now and some other start-ups which are not very famous and offer made us around 10,000 per month Highest package received is around 3.5,00,000 per year percentage of students getting Placement is very less only 30 to 40 percentage not even that much. I can say if we apply any companies directly, we will be placed but not through college and especially this course, but other courses are having very good opportunities. As this course recruiters will say it is over qualified.
