Internal exams conducted twice in per semester so you don't have enough time to revise and study on exam time.

Fees and Financial Aid:

There are two shifts run by college shift 1 and 2, (for science courses), shift 1 government aided so the fees structure is less than 25k per annum including semester, exam fees. And shift 2 is self finance provided by college management so the fees structure varies about less than 40k per annum. The fees structure varies from each course and each person and each year. The scholarships are also provided by the college who come from backward class.

A study on Loyola, Chennai

I get like around 20000 rupees per semester and i have paid around 65000 to 70000 rupess till my 6th semester. There maybe up and downs of amount between odd and even semester. Michellenous fee, Lab fee, exam fee are seperate fee structure

the year wise fee that i paid is somewhere around 30000 to 40000. hostel they are charging different cost for various type of room. like i was stayed there in a non ac hostel with 5 people sharing room it cost me arround 110000 for an year

I think college fees is high. They can reduce some fee.

In my course per semester fees is averagely 15000rs, I think it's high. But, our college gives scholarship for students who are affecting for money and who score high marks in semester. They are quality for these scholarships.

There is a scholarship program for the student's and there is a program called fee concession where the students who can't pay their fees can get a concession by providing the necessary documents. The necessary documents can be known by going to the LSS office inside the campus

Loyola rocks

I know there are scholorships but I didn't avail for anything. The students Union and lss office combinely provides these scholorships. There is also meal programs for financially retarded students. These programs ensure that all the students in the college is treated equally.

College journey

We have Loyola Student Support Service (LSSS). They help the students through scholarships, loans, giving part time jobs inside the college. The scholarship will be given to minority communities, economically weaker students and merit students.
