- DTU is in Hauz Khas and thus makes our college that every happening as Hauz Khas is the most hep area of Delhi.
- Mechanical Branch which is my branch is among the most sought after branch at DTU as NIT Delhi is below our college in Mechanical.
- Students are super crazy here as our annual tech fest autonomy has seen some crazy things done by our students.
Dislikes
- All rich kids and therefore more interest is given to fests and activities than studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering at DTU means you are studying at IITs. Our labs are as advanced as anything, our faculties are as as knowledgeable as anybody. Our course is as good as anybody, so even if I want to point out a complain, i know I won't find a single. Exams are sharp on time as DTU is known for the punctuality.
Fees and Financial Aid
DTUbis indeed the best engineering college as it ranks as high as NITs and ofcourse a shade low than IITs. However, infrastructure and all is definitely better and that is why fees is 2.29 lakhs a year from second year. Initially it was 2.6 lakhs as a lot of one time thing were also included in that.
Campus Life
If I could name some important societies then they are Cultural Council, UAS, Nityatanga which is dance society, and Super Milage Vehicle among others. Engii our annual fest is a decorated fest as students of all engineering college die to get entry in our fest. Our campus is also second biggest after IIT Delhi in Delhi.
Hostel Facilities
Depending upon the room, the hotel fees is charged as for 3 seater room it's 54000 and for 2 seater it's 72000. I have opted for a two seater room as in our rooms, the washrooms are attached and in 3 seater rooms they are common.
Admission
DTU has its own entrance and that is how one gets to this prestigious college. Even 12th marks have to be top notch as students of general category like me needs a minimum of 80 in PCM. Only those who are done into this gets admissions as cut-offs bar is stagef such that getting here is no less than climbing a mountain.
Faculty
DTU faculties are machines as they go on and on and never stops. They also made us the same as it's only my second year but still I can't help but to brag them as much as I can. They are so meaningful when it comes to explaining the concepts and besides that their aura is something that makes them the most attractive humans on earth.
Night Life
Hauz Khas itself is so happening that we don't have to go else where. From Pink Room to the Chocolate Room, we have as many cafes that one could ask for. Hostel are inside the camousa and in time for boys is 9.30 pm.
