Course Curriculum Overview
The course currilculum is a little outdated and is mostly theoretical. Some subjects like Statistics, Time series analysis have real world applications. There is also a compulsary research paper which every student should do in the second year.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies visits for internship at our campus. The median is around Rs 35,000 for current batch and the highest stipend was Rs. 1,20,000. The internship are provided in finance, analytics, marketing and various other domains.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for the final placements from the 2nd year onwards and various companies like Barclays, Amex, ICICI bank visits the campus. In the first year internships opportunities are also provided.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of complete course is around Rs. 1 lakh which is divided into 2 years (48000 per year). There is an extra fees if you want to opt for the placements, which is currently Rs 40,000 for one year.
Campus Life
Various events are organised throughout the year where industry experts from various domains visits. There is a 24/7 library in the campus which has many books and journals. There is badminton court and a ground in the campus.
Admission
This college has one of the best colleges in regard to the ROI in India. It's location at the heart of Delhi was also a big plus which compeld me to join the course. Admissions in DBE is done through CAT and a composite score is made based on certain criteria.
Faculty
The batch consists of nearly 100 students which is divided into 2 sections. The faculties are vastly experienced and very approachable. The course curriculum is a little outdated but students and faculties make the best out of it.
Night Life
Most of the students here are day scholars due to the limited seats in the hostel. But there are plenty of hangout spots nearby in Satya Niketan and cafeteria. The campus is safe and secure even at night.
