- The Return on Investment is great for this college and it is part of esteemed University of Delhi, which gives you recognition.
- The course curriculum is very good and it include subjects like Statistics, Econometrics, which I found very interesting to learn.
- All batchmates are great to interact with, which fosters great peer to peer learning.
Dislikes
- There are very few hostel seats for our department which affects the interaction with batchmates and the MBA life.
- Classes could include more case-based learning apart from the theoretical courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very good. Courses might feel a little technical and theoretical but they are very relevant. The courses which I liked are Statistics, Econometrics, Marketing Managment and Financial Derivatives.
Internships Opportunities
Internship related activities are managed by Placement Committee. There are good opportunites that come and include companies like Arcesium, Dolat Capital, Ornate Solar, Yum among other. But a lot of opportunitiesa are for Sales and Marketing roles and if you are not intereted for these roles then you might to consider off-campus opportunities.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are provided from campus. There is a student body which conducts and organises all the placement related activities. The fee for enrolling in the student body was around 40000 for a year. Companies which visit campus are Barclays, Dolat capital, RBL Bank, Digit Insurance, ICICI Bank, American Express, CaaStle among others.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the MBA(BE) program is around 49000 for one year for General category. For PwD candidates it is around 13000. It is only the tuition fee and does not include any accommodation or any other expense.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. There are activities and fest conducted by clubs and committees. But scarcity of Hostel seats affects the camous life and also the peer to peer learning. There are sports tournaments like football, cricket, badminton, etc.
Admission
Admission process is based on CAT scores and there are different weightage given for academics score (which interested students can check on the website). This college's ROI is quite good and it is based in Delhi which is a great city. Also, being part of Delhi University, give its students recognition.
Faculty
The faculty members are well qualified and have a rich experience in teaching and they are very approachable. They teach in a very structured manner which makes learning easy. There are around 7 courses in each semester and each course is structured in a good way which makes learning easy.
Night Life
Campus is very lush green and at night you can spot people playing badminton, studying in the library and roaming across streets. But one major shortcoming is that the canteen is not open at night so you cannot get a cup of coffee or something to eat.
