- College campus is not that much crowded and number of student intake is also not that much.
- There are total of 400 students in all branches of BTech in year 2024-2028 batch
- Faculties are well skilled and educated.
Dislikes
- Campus size is bit small and don't offer that much college vibe
- Mess food is only average not that much good but on a decent and edible side
- Placements and intership conditions is not that much good but companies do visit but hiring percentage is low
Course Curriculum Overview
As College follows curriculum and syllabus of VMSBUTU so their syllabus is appropriately same as other engineering syllabus. But exams are but on tougher side for first 3 semester. Chances of back are higher in this semester. Fresher's need to work hard on their academic. Apart from academic the college conducts various sessions and programs for the student benifits.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies came for hiring in our campus like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amazon,Chetu India etc for the job role of SDE and sales etc. Decent roles were offered for freshers with package ranging from 3 LPA to 24 LPA in general.... maximum company ranges around 7 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
I had taken admission in year 2024 in BTech CSE with the tution fee of 1,19,999 per year and other fee are excluded like Examination fee 12k per year, ERP Cell fee 2k, Registration Fee 10k, dress fee 7k, etc Fee of the BTech course is increasing per year and for the year 2025 the fee would be 1,50,000 for BTech CSE most probably and hostel fee would be 85,000 for two seater.
Campus Life
There are many clubs in our college like Tech Club, Uthana Club, Udaan Club, Social Club, etc. College conducts annual tech fest and cultural fest during its even semester and DJ in odd semester along with fresher party. There is common central library in our college from where we can issue books. College also have cricket team, football team, basketball and volleyball team, etc and participates in various sports activities and also conduct events
Hostel Facilities
There are basically 2 types of room offered to students: Double Sharing for 80k Triple Sharing for 75k which can be converted into Four Sharing for 70k. This fee includes accommodation, fooding, gym, and courts and ground facilities. Laundary is not provided in this fee you have to pay for it. Meal is quite decent on a edible side... Menu changes and have different dishes in different days Rooms and PGs are available near college
Admission
I choose this college because of its low fee structure and affiliation of it with VMSBUTU and NAAC Grade 'A++', and this college also offers decent placement opportunities for its students. In Uttarakhand many colleges are even more worst than RIT.
Faculty
There is 1 faculty per 30 students. College offer various courses like BTech, BCA, BBA, BTech, MBA...etc And College is generally famous for its BTech followed by MBA course and others. As College is affiliated to VMSBUTU so examination is conducted by VMSBUTU as per there syllabus and curriculum, which is bit on harder side especially 1st year.
Interview Experience
Yeah college usually take many events and activities in which they focus on our software skill with the involvement of current social issues. Admission is based on 12th score and JEE score with management quota too.
Night Life
Campus have different mess for boys and girls in their hostels itself. There is common cafeteria and canteen, gym, library, sports facilities etc. Hostel timing for boys is 9:00 p.m. and for girls is 6:30 p.m. Locality is usually safe for students and no such events occurs in recent timing but college campus is about 5km far from main Roorkee City. The nearest market is Ramnagar and Puhana.
