Entrance Preview

The admission for B.COM stream is carried out by panjab university counselling. The 12 marks are basis for admission. I got admission with 95% along with math as a additional subject.

Since i am second year student i dont know about internship experience.

The placement and job opportunities are high as college is highly recognized by panjab university.One can expect salary around 25-30k per month after graduation.

The events held in college are very enthusiastic.The college held events regularly.Youth fest this year was held in our college.The musical show carried by garry sandhu along with other singer was also held in our college.Many Bollywood movies are also promoted in college.The students get opportunity to enjoy as well as organize events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible just 28000 per year.One can easily afford this college. In addition to it rs 1500 is charged by panjab university every semester.One can opted this college as it is feasible college with high recognition by panjab university.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tech mahindra, airtel, delloitte,etc visited for campus Placements. The highest package this year was 9 Lakhs. And average package this year was 6 lakhs. Near around 97% students got campus placement. After getting degree my plan is to opt for MBA in finance from a good reputed college .

Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh. Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
