Its exposure and amount of experience they provide usby conducting several national lebel programmes.
Academics is given high importance with deep research.

Attendance is given more priority than knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some unnecessary subjects are added to make cource hectic which are genuinely not required. This only adds pressure among students unless mor practical subjects should be added and few boom subjects thst are hyped currently.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 129000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees is 66000 rs with additional 40000Rs for hostel and mess. Fees reduced according to merit and academics. Fees recession for sc/st is not provided. Complete merit based selection is done.

Campus Life

Campus life is not so happening as compared to other government universities. Too much restrictions and striction is for girls specially the wardens here are such a mess. They think they are god and change rules accordingly that are not even legal.

Admission

This is a state government university amd getting admitted here is a big deal with heavy merit scenarios. So i feel proud to be thepart of this prestigious university. Exams accepted here are university exam, jee, neet, cat, cmat

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 7:2 Rude faculties but the amount of knowledge they give is commensable. Every semester 3 to 4 students fail in examination as the level of exam is high which allows students to become more refined and polishedin thier subjects.

Interview Experience

Yes i was selected on merit basis after that we went for personal interview only those who are in merit. I prepared from youtube and rigourous practice for this selection. Interview question was all about introduction SWAT analysis and some gk

Night Life

No nightlife for girls. Gym and canteen facilities is fine. Hostell food is as bad as expected . Hangout places is FLP, badi market, Choti ( gupta restraunt). Timing for girls is 6pm in winters and no timing for boys

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally good for circuital branches but as for lower branches either you have to go in core which is difficult(off campus it is easy , since you have a IIT tag) but non core placements are decents . From 7th semster one become capable for sitting in interviews. Highest package is around 2Cr as for average it ranges between 22-30 lpa Almost 100% students are placed except for those who with thier own startup or try for offcampus placements. My plans are for getting a MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad or Banglore.

I applied for agriculture college and was confirmed admission, but I was more inclined towards animal biology than plant . I tried for a medical College too , but my score didn't permit me to score a seat there. The admission process is through a pen and paper mode exam ( objective type ) containing questions from physics , chemistry, biology, general studies, aptitude and reasoning . Some students can also apply via the counselling conducted by the VCI on the basis of their NEET score . The eligibility criteria is 1.
