Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course was made in a manner that each subject was imp for the students. There were some extra subject for the students like polity and environment. Teachers were nice too and submissions of assignment was easy for students. Timely semester exam was a thing students will get there

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee submission was basically based on a year wise , where a student have to submit her/ his fee in nearby bank affiliated by the same college in cash . The yearly fee for the course I choosed (bachelor of arts, hindi hons) is 4500 yearly

There was a lot to do in college campus as there are clubs like writing club club for painting Groups like dram group therapy group Music group and a lot of NGOs which were stabilised by students only and the licenced one too

Admission

The aspiring candidate must pass class 12 for the under graduate admissions. There were not any kind of interview or test for the admission. The admission was based on merit of class 12th. One have to clear the given cutoff of the college for the enrollment. If a candidate have to get enrolled in a course first fo all he should fill the given form and so on

Faculty

4

The course was a three year based , in which there are 6 semester exams . Each semester exam was important and conducted timely. Faculty was too serious to teach students something new and the exam was moderate too

Interview Experience

4

There were no interview and grounp discuss the only way to get admission is to clear the merit based on 12th class percentage and the cutoff provided by the college. After that aspiring candidate can enroll themselves into college

Night Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very broad and relevant, it covers both theory and practical aspects of the subject. It is very nice to prepare for further higher studies, though more real-world cast studies and interactive teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant to the current aspects of real world. It is also very focused on the practical component of the subject and helps us know how to apply our theoretical concepts in real life. Aspects that influenced me were: the practicality, the relatibiltiy of concepts and the testing approaches as well.

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Economics Hons can offer financial assistance and become great consultation too. So from Deloitte or the Big 4 many consultancy firms such as BCG and many more may not be that big but do come to our campus for recruitments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The richness of literature always attracted to me. The curriculum didn't hold books of bookish nature but had real works. The teachings of the course aren't of spoon-feeding kind but something which made us explore, research, learn and re-learn by ourselves. Maybe a more feedback-based teaching could improve the teaching methods. And less importance should be given to additional papers from the core such as SEC, VAC and AEC (new papers according to the NEP)
