One of the top colleges if you want to pursue Computer Engineering in Pune after COEP. The college is very strict and disciplined so mostly it is like reliving school days. The campus isnt that big so dont have very high expectations

One of the most reputed curriculum is of Pune University. They conduct semester pattern with 2 unit tests and 1 final exam with practical exams too. The curriculum is well maintained and updated from time to time

There are great opportunities for all fields in PICT campus placements. There are few drives for internship too. Companies usually have almost the same procedure as for normal full time job. I was part of some procedures but couldn’t clear them.

College has various technical and cultural events. One of the most hyped event of PICT is organised by IEEE students branch in which there are lots of technical and fun events for all colleges around Pune/Mumbai. Cultural events are also organised which are fun.

Feasible. Just like normal engineering colleges these days. Its around 150000 for general catergory, 80000 for OBC, 14000 for VJ/NT and around 5000 for SC/ST. There are various scholarship schemes too.

There are many scholorship schemes available based on family annual income or caste. These are government schemes so you have to follow up with notices that are displayed so that you dont miss the deadlines because if you do you have to pay full fees

There is a basketball court only. Not much area for extracurricular in the campus. Although there are many different sports team involved in various tournaments but college doesn’t promote much, if you are interested you will have to put extra efforts

Yes they have their own alumini portal so that alumini can be contacted easily and there is connection maintained. This is a platform that can be utilised by college students for their own benefit, be it job opportunities or any kind of help/advice/suggestions.

First had to apply online, then select colleges according to preference and then based on merit list colleges are allocated. Then to confirm admission you have to go to the respective allocated college and complete the procedure there.

Faculty is really good in PICT. All the faculty have completed Masters. Teachers are strict that’s why PICT is said to be the most disciplined college or as some people call it as school only because of so many rules and regulations and not like other engineering colleges
