Remarks

I will rate it as 8 on the scale of 10 for me. It is a good college but strict from the student's point of view.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is a one-semester and exam and two mid-semester exam which is called as internal exams and there are four quizzes for each subject and 4 assignment also for this course of being we have a total of 200 credits and each semester is comprised of credits. It is very hectic for us but then also we can do it all.

Placement Experience

Placement is tremendous, in the end, all students were placed even I got 2 offers, there are many students with a good amount in hand, which is good for both college reputation. And students also, so overall I will rate it as 10 on 10 if the placement is considered this year 29 LPA was highest.

College Events

There are various branches each has there individual feat on various occasion and there is one mega fest for which I wait for the most, it held in February named as halcyon, shelter, momentum, technician, browse are various fest name which is hosted by different branches in odd and even semester.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is different for localities and non-localities but overall it is economical as compare to other private college and also we can cover that money by getting placed in good company. Approx 8LPA of four years for non-loclite. Many students get scholarship and fee concession.

Fees and Financial Aid

For me there is no scholarship, the scholarship is only given to people who belong to Karnataka, they provide a good amount of scholarship to scholars.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is the same as any other engineer college. Every branch has various subjects and many subjects have their individual labs so that students can understand the subject in the better way sports are there, like football, cricket, Badminton, basketball.sit cup is there in the month of January for each sport.

Alumni/Alumna

Ya, every year there is some reunion take place by various previous batches. They all are the inspiration for us, they motivate us to move ahead in life.

Admission

For the admission in this prestigious college, there was an exam of KCET or COMEDK for which students have to appear and then on the basis of score they have to go for councling, according to rank college are allowed in the counselling on basis of our choice.

Faculty

Faculty are good in academic, they all try to reciprocate all the things which they know, it all depends on the individual whether they want to Lear or not. All are well educated from various IITs and nits or private college. Overall I will rate them 8 on the scale of 10.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More

I had got selected to this college based on my KCET EXAM rankings and i had given this college as my preority at 4th place and got it. i was so happy about getting this college and there was no other second thought and joined here.
