The college is very decent, with fine placements and opportunities and a very robust alumni network. The academic quality is bery good. However locational disadvantages are there in comparison to other colleges situated in major cities of India.

The curriculum is divided into 15 trimesters of three months each. The duration is of five years. The subjects taught are from legal field as well as from Arts. The exams take place at the end of each trimesters along with projects.

The placements are quite decent as the biggest of law firms and in- house law departments visit from the end of forth year to the end of fifth year. The placement committee also provides for internships with good firms. The stipend varies from nil to 20 thousand per month.

There is a sports fest named Virudhaka which is held annually and lots of students from law schools participate in it. Also the cultural fest of the college named MP04 takes place in which law school students participate in various competitions. Apart from these moot courts and other cultural programs are conducted.

The fee is a little expensive and ranges around 2 lakhs 20 thousands per year including hostel and mess fees. In comparison to the facilities and the quality of teaching staff the fee seems to be a little higher than what it should be. More than halfof the fee goes to the tuition fee.

No such facilities are provided by our college for loan to students. However certain scholarship are provided by college for scoring the highest cgpa over five years along with medals. Also scholarship is provided by govt to reserved category students.

Extracurricular activities such as games and contests are organised by various cultural cells in college. The computer lab in college isn't exactly high end and the facilities are below average. Sports facilities are provided in the form of gym, table tennis, badminton, football etc.

Alumni network of NLIU is very robust and there arr senior in every big firm or in-house departments. They are very helpful in providing internships and placement. They also help generously towards various competitions conducted in college.

I gave the exam of CLAT and scored 258 AIR and got admission. The exam was conducted to check the apptitude amd reasoning. Admission is on the basis of exam rank only and no interview takes place after it.

The faculty in NLIU isn't really extraordinary to say. There are some teachers who are well and brilliant in there field however most of the faculty that has been recruited recently isn't upto the mark.
