Likes

Beautiful campus and probably one of the only NLUs which is situated in the heart of the city.
We have one of the biggest libraries as almost 60% of the college students can be seated in the library at once.
Placement statistics of our college are getting better by the day.

Dislikes

College admin is definitely little laid back as our issues are never addressed on time.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being born in a family where my grandfather is a lawyer and so are my parents, I was destined for law. I think most NLUs have same syllabus it depends on the electives that we choose, like criminal law was my forte and hence I have chosen that. I am already done with 3 years of legal studies and I am happy the way they have shaped out to be.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 270000 per year

Placement Experience

At our college after the 4th semester our CV are reviewed like our expertise and internships that we have done are evaluated. Companies come from Law firms to corporate houses we can choose anything that we want. Hence, job offers from here are easy if we have maintained a good CV.

Fees and Financial Aid

NLIU Bhopal one of the NLUs which is located in Madhya Pradesh is a pioneer law college located in Bhopal. Our fees yearly is 270k and 60k for hostel which includes both mess fees and lodging fees. Exams fees is paid per semester and it is 3000!@# 500 for each subjects and we have a total of 6 subjects each semester.

Campus Life

Our NLU is quite bigger as I have been to various NLUs and even top NLUs like GNLU and all are quite small in comparison to our campus. Ours is 55 acres huge campus and is Greenfield. If Kanpur cricket stadium is Green Park then our campus should be called a Greenfield. Mess is amazing aa it's airconditioned and even sports facilities both indoor and outdoor are amazing.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good and if common washrooms were not an issue, I would have rated it 10 in 10. Mess is beautiful like clean and food served is fullmod variety like from Dosas to Chicken once in a week, I think cpupent have asked for more.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

CLAT is an exam which every student has to give of the want to pursue law from top colleges in India. So, I got a rank of 1600 All India and NLU Bhopal was where I got admission aa it was my home state or else I was getting admissions at NLUO and MNLU Mumbai too. However, I wanted to stay close to my college and therefore I have chosen this college.

Faculty

Firstly some of the faculties were not just lawyers in past but has also served as judge. Hence their judgement regarding studies is incomparable and unbeatable. NLU will certainly have such quality as that is why it is NLU.

Night Life

Tatva, Celestia, Basil are good but best is House No 230 aa it is unbeatable. I have loved that to the core and Bhopal is city of lakes and two lakes especially the Badi Lake is very close to our campus.

There is placement coordination committee and from the third year onwards you will be elgible to get internsips form this and n 5ht year palcements. currently DE shaw is conduncting there pre placement talk this year 10% 5th years got placemtns and 10% got PPO. and 5% get placed in day 1 after day zero of placemetns. i will also aply for palcements throgh PCC only.

Placement Experience:

This is the biggest weakness of the institution, as there is a Campus Placement Cell but it doesn't have any work to do, because there are very few students in the history of this institution, who were placed from campus. They got the Pay scale of 15,000/- to 50,000/- per month, by the Companies like Gillette, Bajaj, Kotak Mahendra, etc. And some Law Firms. The Students of 9th & 10th Semester ie. The final year of UG degree. Generally, Students from our college opt for Litigation Practice in the High Court & Subordinate Courts. And other students go in the Judiciary after clearing the exam of Civil Judge. Every year almost 4-6 students become Civil Judge. I will certainly go to the Litigation Practice ie Advocacy in The Higher Courts.

firstly, i got the college from my rank in clat i have apllied in AILET which for naltional law university delhi but i didnt score well so i didnt get in that too, i also applied in MHCET but i as not getting ILS and GLC with my marks which was 96 out of 120 but i was from rajasthan so i dint get in that too but when i got NLIU i was so happy as this is tier one NLU and with many opportunites and good alumni base in tier one law firms. you can apply to get in NLIU bhopal by appearing in CLAT exam and get rank around 800 ot 1200 and of belong to st Managment then rank around 6000 to 9000....Read More

NLIU Bhopal is best!!

I was rejected or rather not selected by top National Law Universities like NALSAR, NLSIU or NLU Jodhpur as it all depends on your CLAT score. With a rank of 8000, I could only be qualified for lower ranked NLUs. Thus, I am at NLIU which is also an NLU after all....Read More

The Best BLIU, Bhopal

The eligibility criteria for the course is the 12th pass from any of the streams. After that student has to appear for the Common Law Admission Test that is CLAT. Through CLAT we can get admission in any of the 22 National Law Universities and some private colleges also take admission on the basis of your clat rank like NIRMA, KPM and Jagran Lake City University, Bhopal and many more colleges.
