I appeared for CAT 2013 and scored 83.35%ileBITS Pilani shortlists students based on their overall profile and not just CAT score. I had a work experience of 20 months in Healthcare Sector. I was disappointed with my CAT score and didn't want to appear for CAT again. I was shortlisted for colleges like IFMR, KJ Somaiya (PGDM-IB), Wellingkar, UBS and DSM. I finally selected BITS over all the other options due to the brand it holds.

BITS Pilani provides a General MBA degree, so after passing out students have the flexibility to join any field. The course curriculum is unique and we have good mix of subjects. The course curriculum is revamped from time to time depending on Industrial needs.

Yes, BITS have tie-ups with big companies and provide a 6 month internships. The average stipend during this internship is around 20-25K. About 60% of the students get PPO after the internship.

Placements are good. Packages vary from 6 lacs to 13 lacs with average around 8.25 lacs. The batch size is quite low compared to many other colleges and more than 90% of the students get placed through campus. Around 15 companies visit on campus and many student get placed through the internships provided by the college.

BITS have various fests which happen throughout the year. OASIS the cultural fest of BITS is one of the best fests in India. APOGEE is the technical fest and INTERFACE is the management fest, which gets a huge participations from colleges all over India.

Fees structure is feasible. There are very few good colleges in India offering MBA at fees less than 6 lakhs. The college is rated quite high in terms of ROI.

SBI provides scholar loan which offers student loan at very low rates.

Campus life- It's magic!there are various clubs and various activities are carried out throughout the year. All the clubs and associations are student driven which gives student more freedom to perform. There's a great diversity of students in the campus.

Hostel and Mess facilities are good. Mess is managed by food service provider Sodexo and food quality is quite good with wide variety of options.

BITS have a good alumni network with many alumni holding senior position in various firms. They interact with the current students through various guest lectures organized by the college.

All the faculty members are well qualified.
