Likes

The campus is beautiful and full of pretty gardens and trees
The canteen serves a lot of different types of food of decent quality
The classrooms are big and accommodating for big class strengths

Dislikes

The fans in the classrooms are slow and hence during summers it gets really hot
There are no air conditioners in the campus
The bamboo rooms are very small to accommodate anyone

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty up to date according to the indian education curriculum and also uses international books for teaching the topics .The curriculum also keeps in consideration to give examples of real word happenings to better substantiate on the issue.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities offered in the college are very widely ranging for different backgrounds and many companies which offer it. The urban company, EY, and other businesses in delhi offer a lot of internships

Placement Experience

The placements are good at my college.There are w lot of MNCs visiting the campus like deloitte,PWC and other prominent companies for each domain. The placement procees starts in the final year and goes on till the completion of your degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The bcom hons course at maitreyi college ,university of Delhi is very affordable.The yearly payments increase by 500 -1000 every year and the total fees for the course is approximately 18000 for the duration of three years. There are no scholarships but there can be tuition wavers for ews children

Campus Life

The college has multiple clubs for dance and singing The debating club and writing club and the art club as well The very prominent modeling club The college has its annual fest rhapsody,diwali mela,enactus fest and dept fests in campus There is an annual sports meet

Admission

I choose this college over other college due to its location and its campus.Also i heard pretty positive reviews about the faculties from my seniors who has studied in this college. To take admission in this college,one has to appear for the cuet exam and have a score of above 730

Faculty

The faculty at the college is good and well qualified ,having ample knowledge about the subjects they teach.They ensure to keep the class interactive throughout and not just focus on theory.There are final exams every semester and total 6 semesters are therr when i graduated,now maybe the course has changed .

Night Life

The nightlife is not much The campus is small and the histel Was recently established so it is not very happening around at night and for food services hostel Mess is present Most students opt to live in pgs

supportive and approachable who explains concepts really well, like pallavi mam and shweta mam
good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms

Dislikes

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

Course Curriculum Overview:

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
