Course Curriculum Overview

Now Cbme curriculum is introduced so teaching is different Small group teaching and small group discussion are also conducted by teachers with a group of 10-15 students per teacher . Tutorial is also done

Internships Opportunities

As it is Mbbs there no companies to hire we are offered internships of 1 year by our college with a salary of 30000/-.After internship you can do Pg or can continue as medical officer or you can open .

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees is 156000 for AIQ students fir state quota students fees is different and they are also provided scholarships according to their category . Hostel fees is 7000 for 6 months . Mess charge is different or you can opt for tiffin service

Campus Life

Events are very few some of the are plexus , christmas party . Library is big and you can issue books by your library card. Sports events also takes place . Intercollegiate competitions also takes place time to time

Hostel Facilities

Room is three seater one table and chaur is provided by hostel . There is cupboard fan tubelight is room . Cleaners clean room on regular basis.Mess food is not so good . You can get room easily if you are AIQ student

Admission

I also filled colleges in MP and other states but I chose this college over them because in learning point of view this college is good . As it is the only medical college of the state better facilities are provided.

Faculty

In different labs different no. Of faculty are there for students in dissection 1 teacher is on table of 25 students Faculty is approachable and they're very helpful The level of exam is not too easy not too hard

Night Life

Gym is not so good most of the equipment are old . Cafeterias is good if you wanna have snacks in mid break. For hangout you can go to beach the bearest beach is only 5 km away if you get good experience you can go to other beaches

Goa medical College reveled

Course Curriculum Overview:

The academics here is really great. They focus much on clinical aspects rather than on non clinical. The SGDs( small group discussion) and SDLs( self Directed learning) are better approachable form to reach students here they make a small group of five students per teacher for the discussion and gives a topic for the discussion. One improvement I will suggest is to use animated videos more in lectures rather than written slides. Frequency and timings of exams are perfectly coordinated (somewhat frequency is more????) that gives a better time and pressure to revise the contents taught.

Oldest Medical College in Asia

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is cbme based this meets the international standards and students can attampt usmle aslo. The course give u exposure to real world scenarios. The course is good as it is. The exams take place every semester and end of the year finals. Moderately difficult to clear.

I decided to choose this course when I was 14. Curriculum is well balanced for students so they can easily prepare for real world applications. Timings of classes can be changed. Exam timings are good but frequency is high.

Goa medical college follows the CBME guidlines prescribed by NMC. There are 2-3 hours of lectures every day and there are clinics rotation in the wards. 1st and 2nd year students have lot of journal work

Bachelor of optometry in Goa medical college
