Faculty and the college was good and well treated
Involvement in extra curricular activities

Little extra requirement of field area and various crops
Hostel food was good but sometimes I wish

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum involves various approaches for teaching in this course which made me to apply like NSS camps , state study tour, all India study tour, internships, etc Exams frequency is quite good and convenient

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid around 1 lakh in four years ,per year around twenty to twenty five thousand rupees. And I received scholarship through vidyasiri by Karnataka government where per year I received around 20000 rupees

Campus Life

We used to celebrate all national festival in our college and the one which we used to enjoy lot is Ganesh chaturthi Library was well filled with almost all the required books and journals Classrooms were also good provided with projectors and all required features

Admission

I got admission through KCET examination and I applied for some other colleges of the same university but I got college of horticulture ,munirabad according to the score I received in examination. Even people write separate agriculture examinations to get into the course

Faculty

Faculty to students ratio is balanced and approach and teaching skills were also good Almost all the faculty was good if to mention particularly one name I would like to thank my lecturer Mr Prabhakar for all the KT

Night Life

Munirabad was place near to my hometown which was in koppal so place was so familiar to me which is so good and safe. As per hostel safety rules we were restricted after 6:30 pm to go out Near by places like tungabadra backwater and pampavana were peaceful places to hangout outside college

very good and affordable college with good hostel facilitites.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was very well structured with both theoretical and Practical exposure. The curriculum is designed in such a way that they are very relevant to real world , this also prepare the students to the real world applications and further academic pursuits. The improvements can be made in the practical part of the courses. There must be regular field visits and utilisation of funds to bring innovation. The internal exam would be after 2 to 2.5 months after the commencement of the semester and practical exams would be immediately after 10 days of the internals. The external or final exams would be after a month of practical exams. There will be enough time to prepare for the exams from the commencement of the semester but there will be no study holidays and gaps between the exams.

College life on a loop!

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course makes me a plant doctor. this course has great importance in this current stage of India because agriculture is becoming a vast and important sector. There are many career opportunities for this course like an agriculture officer. agri business management agriculture research scientist.. agriculture extension officer.. agriculture consultant.. agricultural inspector etc. The exams are given at proper timings with gaps and we are getting enough time to study and do well except for some rare cases of difficulties. as it is a professional course, the difficulty level is medium to hard.

The Insights of a Horticulture degree life.

Along with this college I had also applied for forestry and veterinary colleges. But unfortunately my rank was not sufficient for me to get into those colleges. Thus I choose this course which was the next best option. The admission process of the college is pretty simple once you have the adequate rank for the college you lock your college. Then on a fixed date set by the college adminstration we have to come to the college and submit our basic details fill forms for college and hostel if opting for the hostel facility and pay a caution money deposit. Later on the college starts and on the first day of college you are supposed to fill the courses for the semester and make the fee deposit for that semester all of this process is completely hassel free as all of this is done in online format....Read More
