Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Degree programme is 3 years. There are 6 semesters (2 semesters in each year) and there 6 exams to complete the degree programme. They provide the students with required notes to study for the examination and students can secure good marks in the examination.

Placement Experience

1.5

Currently, there are no placement programmes provided in the college because of the less information about private companies.

College Events

3

There are so many events celebrated in the college. Arts day is celebrated for 1 full day and encourage students. Sports day is also celebrated. College day is the main event in the college. Onam, Christmas functions are also there. There are some fests also conducted in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For degree programme (BSc Geography). There is a fee rs 12500 per semester price varies from programmes because of the presence and absence of lab records and other things But for post-graduation, there is an increase of 22500 for every 4 semesters ie, 2 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for any college education loan but there are scholarships for students and they repeat every year.

Campus Life

4

There is a pleasant atmosphere for students. The college is surrounded by nature and this is the main attraction of the college. There is a neutral gender ratio. They provide the students with all lab facilities as much as possible and they encourage students.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network conducts in every year and this provides the senior students with a regathering of their colleagues.

Admission

I got admission via allotment but there are also management quotas for students. It will enable students who got fewer marks to do a degree programme and secure good marks. Please book your seats in the month of May or June for the new academic year course.

Faculty

4

All faculties are highly educated and there are also faculties with PhD. They clear our doubts accordingly and they help and compel us to study better for the examination. They see us as their children and there is a friendly atmosphere there. Strongly recommended.

Reviewed on Nov 18, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
