Remarks

Reva Universities growth in a span of 3-4 years is commendable. Its growing day by day and i can say that as of now i have both positive and negative comments Positive in infrastructure and course design Negative in Faculty recruitment and transport organization.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Its fantastic to be honest Designed by so called Cloud Guru(Anil Bidari) This curriculum has each and every thing that is required by the IT world. Its not static I mean the curriculum keeps on changing based on the requirement of the it world.

Internships Opportunities

Yes Only after 3rd year As according to UGC rules and regulations We are allowed to do internships only after 3rd year They do provide internships from good IT companies like Cloud Enabled,IBM,etc Nothing much about it

Placement Experience

4

Placements are assured 100% for the eligible students IT companies which are ruling the current world like MICROSOFT,HP,AMAZON,GOOGLE,AND MANY MORE COMES FOR PLACEMENTS. Job opportunities are much more for this job compared to traditional engineering courses.

College Events

3.5

Very few Since reva university is growing day by day They should do and organize lot of tech events and other cultural activities Which i feel is good But i can proudly say we have collaborated with TedX which is great.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible in my vision Since i can see many other colleges do take lots of money saying they provide more amenities I can say provides 50-60% of what they had assured during the time of admission I can say they can provide much more Since they are taking 1.7lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholar is available from government Loan facility is given from the bank There is nothing that colleges gives u in the form of scholarship or loan or any kind of it But during admission if ur PU percentage is above 85 then they give fee concession of 5000?

Campus Life

5

Reva Provides extracurricular activities like lab, sports, cultural events They all are good but can be organized and cab be presented in a better way And most of them wont be knowing what exactly is going on.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Reva Hostel is very good compared to other institutes The mess is completely organized and they do provide both vegetarian and Non vegetarian dishes and the taste and quality also is far better than others.

Alumni/Alumna

We have only 3 batches of our course as of now And i am in second batch of students And we have 1 batch of seniors and juniors but no alumni network I can say that we have good some good set of seniors.

Exam Structure

Good But could have been made much more better As i feel Pen and paper exam is best But in reva they do give lots of importance for MCQ's They do give lots of assignments but which i feel is useless unless its worthy.

Admission

Nothing much I went to college Had a session of details about this course for an hour And then they asked some of the details like PU and 10th marks Then they said me course objectives and asked me to pay the fee(1.7lakhs).

Faculty

3

Heterogeneous Faculties I mean some are good and best But some are not even like teachers They just read whats there in Text book and move on Till now we had some 15-20 faculties I can merely count good faculties As i said u earlier Reva lacks good faculties

The course i choose is bsc because of the different subjects in this course it has electronics and computer science . The curriculum prepares me by special courses and the new ways of teaching. The methods of teaching is good but we need new ways like learning with games. The timing of exam is 3 hours for eights marks, and the difficulty is the benches are not comfortable

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now the syllabus has changed. New emerging technologies trends and subjects are introduced in new curriculum. Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are now taught. Practical marks are reduced to 50 marks. Term end examinations are conducted twice in a year. Exams are not that difficult. Usually previous year questions appear in the exams.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
