Course Curriculum Overview

As I'm a BA Political Science Hons student the new chapters and the new syllabus attracted me to choose this and I have studied Political Science till 12 so it was a easy approach for me, we can have smart boards for the better understanding of topics.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 8500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

One year fee is near about 8500 per year, the charge an admission fee every year and I'm a SC candidate and never get any reduction in fee structure, My batchmates who have another courses and are from general category have the same fee too, I never got any kind of scholarships or any financial aid.

Campus Life

We don't have such festivals that's a very awful thing. Books and Journals are easily available from the library for 7 days. We don't have any facilities or technological provisions with in the classrooms, there is no extracurricular activities or sports area.

Admission

I applied to DR. BR Ambedkar College and successful I got admission there but due to my operation I didn't proceed further and I select out this college that I'm in later. There is a simple admission process you just have to submit your basic documents over there and fill out the form.

Faculty

In comparison to students one faculty is provided over 100+ students. Rahul Sir is the best faculty whom I met during my semesters he helped us in almost every subject notes and important questions with their answers btw almost faculties are very helpful. There were 7 exams till 2nd year but now only 6 exams are there .

Night Life

There are so many cafeterias for hanging out with friends, a library is there of SOL, The most famous places of Hangouts are Sudama ki Chai, Mr. Crust, at night the campus are and outside looks too dreamy and relaxing and it's safe in the night .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Area that should be improved that is treat every student similarly without any discrimination. Faculty don't even tdke action on sol, IGNOU and NCWEB students. So I think it should be improved firstly.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
