Likes

Faculty is very knowledgeable and most of them are experienced
Infrastructure is very big, greenery everywhere.

Dislikes

Air conditioners can be installed in the campus as it becomes very difficult in summers
Placements also need to be improved as even after getting good grades many don't get enough placements

Course Curriculum Overview

I would give 4 stars for the course as I think various improvements can be made... The course should be made more practical and also more practical knowledge should be given rather theoretical knowledge. Digital learning should be given more focus and yeah frequency and timings are good

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for one sem is approx Rs. 15,000 ... But other than this there is no additional fees for curriculum. Overall I can say everything is good taking in mind the fees as we get knowledge, exposure, experience and many other things at too at low cost as compared to other universities

Campus Life

Overall the college life is good the crowd is great, societies are cool. All kinds of aspects are considered while teaching and holistic development is focused. Not only studies but also other aspects of life are fully considered.

Admission

I got this college through CUET and I applied as it had great faculty, reputation and infrastructure. Placements are not very bad I would say mid but otherwise everything's nice. I didn't apply for any other university and wanted delhi university only

Faculty

The ratio could be said as neither too good nor to bad as sometimes in some subjects like VAC, SEC the ratio is not very good but in core subjects the raito is good and I do get conceptual clarity. Exams were also easy and most the paper is from concepts taught jn class

Interview Experience

Yes there have been many group discussion as per the classes and subjects. Presentation public speaking curriculars have also been held. There is MUN society also doe those who want to go for more gds

Night Life

I haven't been much at night time. But I do can say at night also the college is cool people are seen in groups and it feels safe at night too. Everything feels normal. Gym canteens are also seem crowded and guards are also there to check security

A quick view on Dyal Singh College Morning, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum itself is offered under delhi University is the biggest pro of this college I liked the aspect that it tries to capture the essence of holistic development by introducing skill enhancement courses, value addition courses and ability enhancement courses It also facilitates dynamic learning experience by offering the courses from different departments such as general electives I still believe that there is a space for improvement in the applicability of this course in the real world as the world is growing at a fast paced and we need to prepare ourselves with everything we can Intership opportunities, live projects of certain subjects , increased field trips and introduction of ai courses Frequency is good ,1 per semester which helps students to take on different ventures also and the difficulty level is mixed depending upon the subject but ranges from moderately easy to difficult

I would say genuine

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's no such specific aspect to be very honest, I was clear since my 12th standard only that I'll be doing BCom hons in my undergraduation. The core subjects provides you valuable knowledge for sure but there's nothing to learn from AEC, SEC and VAC subjects (they are useless). I think teachers should start focusing more and like in my 3rd semester, there are 2 teachers for each of my core subject, this should be eliminated because it creates confusion among students. Exams usually ends in 1 month and mostly my exams were in the morning shift which is 9:30-12:30 but it gets difficult during winters to reach to college on time and sometimes you have to wait too for 20-30 minutes outside for the gate to open.

I chose the bcom course because of its well structured curriculum that covers fundamental aspects of commerce, including accounting, finance, taxation and business law. Exams are conducted in every 3 months of semester. Exams paper are moderate to hard not so easy.

Take admission if you wanna graduate just to get a degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think there's too much unnecessary subjects given in the name of VAC and SEC and AEC becuae the options are completely irrelevant to the course. I'm a bcom student why will I study political science or hindi. If it's important to have these many subjects then give us subjects which are relevant to our course. There's mandatory EVS subject too and I think I have learned all that thing already in school so there's no need to study that.

I applied all the colleges of the DU but I chose Dyal Singh College for my graduation cuz it has best rating at that time and everyone was appreciating the facilities. No I didn't get rejection from any college. I want to enroll in DSC only. You just have to wait for the cutoff.
