Enriching Journey

The curriculum was well adapted to the needs of students . There needed to be interactive sessions among the students and faculty. The curriculum was well suited for competitive exams like upsc or ssc also was of lot of help to pursue further studies in reserach .

I never became a part of any internship offered from college. but I took internship from outside. I worked at CM office as an advisor to the same office and also worked with few NGOs. Experience was quite enriching and it exposed me to various domains of experience.

The fess were paid at the time of admission which was the admission fees.For each collegees in University it was different and then we had to pay for the exam fees .I remember if I am not wrong students from kashmir did avail some scholarship.

So there were annual fests along with fests and festivals held by different societies in odd months. The library was inclusive had all range of books from history to arts to fiction to Science.The ambience was well lit and inspiring.

The hostel was undergraduate hostel for girls at Mukherjee Nagar. This was a hostel which was rented by the students of different colleges in Delhi University. So it had students from North campus and South campus colleges, but mostly preferably from North campus. The annual structure of the fees was 72,000 and we had to pay it in three instalments. The meal was fresh, healthy, and inclusive. there was this entire registration process where they would take interviews, fill out forms, and then select us based on our percentages.

I chose this college because I was nervous I wont get to any cokkege at this 11th cut off .I tookadmission in 2nd cut off in a coolege in North campus in a different course then changed it at 5th to sone college at South campus.I wanted to take history as my coyrse and kuckily I ended up in this college at 11th cutoff. The cutoff was 93 percent if I rememer after stream change cut off .

So there was disparity in female to male ratio in college. For eg females were 2 out of 8 boys. I remember my class only had 15 girls out of which only 3-4 were regular. History faculty was awesome Neeru mam ,Lakhan sir ,OP singh and Raman mam were gems .They were quite interactive and class was interesting. So we had internal assessments in every semester befire the semester exams which was kind of tough but was necessary to overhaul the performance.

So honestly I was not into any kind of fun activities in the college at night, so I hardly have knowledge about famous,hanging out places around the college yes, but I could assure you that the locality was quite safe to roam around at night. There was also this eatery at Satya Niketan, which was very famous and was flocked by the college students.
