Admission

I mainly focussed on the placements. To get admission in this college you need to give jee mains and should earn a very good percentile. In my rank range this is the college that has a very good placements and also as i am looking for cse branch

Faculty

4

For cse the student and teacher ratio is not that good but for other branches it is nice.I have very much liked my dbms professor .The course curriculum is very much related to the gate exam Actually there will be 4 set of exams .quiz 1 midsem quiz2 endsem.Mostly the paper will be on difficult side and also it depends on the professor.

Night Life

3

IIITDM Jabalpur, being an institute focused on academics and research, doesn’t have a nightlife like metropolitan cities. However, students have their own ways to make nights fun and engaging. Many students stay up late working on projects, coding, or preparing for competitions like Codeforces, CodeChef, and hackathons. The library and hostel study rooms remain active at night, especially during exam season.Gaming culture is strong, with students frequently playing multiplayer games like CS:GO, Valorant, FIFA, and PUBG in hostel rooms. Some common rooms have table tennis, carrom, and chess for those who prefer offline games. The campus is safe for late-night walks, and students often gather near canteens, hostels, or sports grounds to chill. Popular spots include the Amul Parlor and Juice Center, which stay open till late, providing snacks and refreshments.Goonj (Music & Dance Club) members often have jamming sessions in the hostels or common areas. Casual gatherings for singing, beatbox

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aim of me to choose these course that I have the interest to get the technical knowlege that how any technical works internally and what the mechanism it follws to work and what algorithm it follws to work and for these specific choise of me to chose these course makes me to choose these course. As the curriculum is not much focused on technical skills rather it is more inclined on theoritical concepts but it gives me the idea about how to get know about any other or the technical skills that we have'nt yet studied in an sequential manner through the theoritical knowledge but I urge to update the syllbus to more incline the curriculum to technical knowledge which gives students an idea of proper real-world applications. The course curriculum is too old now that are being followed by our college given by the university which does'nt matches with the latest technologies and should be improved and updated according to the latest technology and should be more inclined to the technical parts. The time duration of each sem. is for 6 months where the are 4 months of teaching and 1 month of exams and 1 month of break and there are two categories of semester odd and even where odd semester are little bit longes ther the even semester in the time duration.

Students in their final year can participate in a successful placement drive held by NMIMS Indore. Companies like Crisil, EY, Reliance, ICICI, and next education participate in the placement campaign and pay skilled students up to 8 to 13 LPA. This college provides students with 100% placement help, and students who choose to continue their education may opt out of the placement procedure and seek advice from the institution. I'm in my last year and would be more than willing to take part in the placement drive.
