Course Curriculum Overview

5

Artificial Intelligence is in the trend right now and that is one of the reasons for me to choose this course. The curriculum really help for the real world applications and further academic pursuits. The student to teacher ratio could be improved and faculty could work with students on more projects. The frequency of exams is fine but timing is sometimes off like exams on festival.

Internships Opportunities

4

In the final semester of the btech program, students participated in practice schools dedicating 4 to 6 months in industry projects. The immersion provides hand on experience, brigging academic learning to real life application Summer Internship: advised to do between 4th to 5th sem Winter internship: advised to do between 5th and 6th sem

Placement Experience

4

Eligibilty for campus placements: Typically, students become eligible in the pre final year, which is seventh semester for Btech program . This allows them to secure job offers before completing their degree. Recruitement Companies and Offers: in the year 2023 placement season at Manipal Institute Of Technology, over 339 recruiters participated, including prominent companies such as: 1)Technology and IT Services: Microsoft, Dell, HPE, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture 2) Consulting and Finance: Deloitte, KPMG, Goldman Sachs

Fees and Financial Aid

Manipal Institute Of Technology(MIT) offers a wide range of BTech programs with a structured fee system. Detailed breakdown of fee structure: 1)Btech program: rs. 485900 approx per year This applies to specialization such as AI, core, Cybersec, DS, Electronics etc.

Campus Life

5

Overall campus life is really good with a lot of sport opportunuties. Ther are badminton courts, football pitches, basketball courts, cricket ground etc. There are many technical as well as non technical clubs oin cllege providing a wide range of opprtunities.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are fans, beds and cupboards in the room. Each students is provided with a table and chair with a side cabinet alonng. Pillows bedsheets buckets and umbrellas are also provided. The quality of food in mess is really good but taste of the food is a bit okay only.

Admission

This college has a really good brand value and good reptationn in the market. The faculty reviews of this college is really good and the campus is really pretty and lively. As for the other colleges I didn't get a lot of positive reviews from the students studying there. Admission process of the college is really smooth without any hassle.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is decent with around 60 students in one class. The faculty is really approachable and helpful. One of the best faculties in my college has to be Shaallen Bhatnagar ma'am. There is no such faculty in college that I like as such. There is one quiz, one midsem, one endsem per semester with decent difficulty.

Night Life

5

There is an open gym in the campus accesible at night. There are tracks in the campus wher one can roam around in with the friends. There are many benches for the students to sit and enjoy with their friends.

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.
