Remarks

It's good college from a placement point of view, anyone can get a job if he is good enough.

Course Curriculum Overview

One final exam in each semester and have 2 mid-semester exam in each semester with 4 quizzes for every individual subject plus 4 assignment which make the overall semester very hectic but it's ok as it is making or polishing us only to transfer us to corporate.

Placement Experience

Placement is good for branches like CSE USE ECE, if one individual wants to learn then he can get good company like me only I got selected in infotech, which is like dream come true for me.

College Events

Each branch has there separate events plus one mega event for which we wait for all-time halcyon. I like the most halcyon the summer fest various activities are there in halcyon and each branch has there individual sports events. So it's good place to start a career.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is expensive It cost around 8 lakhs for 4 years but if u are placed then it is worth to live and study here. After that you have hostel fees too but the food is not that good, For every year now fees are 2 lakhs. These fees are for the non-Karnataka student.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ya, I got a scholarship as I got merit in my plus 2 so they awarded me fee concession not only me but to many people, they offered the same.

Campus Life

Campus life is okay kind of almost 1:1 ratio of gender is there except for mechanical engineering where no girls are found Environment is healthy Students from all over India are there For extracurricular activities, it is a awesome college. You are free to form organization which can conduct events and can even join the existing organization in the college Labs are good.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior are helpful they helped me also in getting offers and I interacting with them is always up to our confidence.

Admission

By writing an exam KCET or COMEDK for non-locals. All India level exam take place once in a year, then counselling occurs where u can get any college according to your merit based on marks you scored the exam, so be prepared for the music as the exam is not easy.

Faculty

All faculty are well educated, in fact, all have done their MTech and PhD from well-known college and some of them are currently doing PhD but overall it is 8 on 10 if we judge based on marks. All faculty are willing to teach, want to take extra classes to teach.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More
