Course Curriculum Overview

5

chose this course because of its mix of theory and practical subjects. The inclusion of emerging topics like IoT and AI in later semesters was a plus, but the first few semesters feel outdated and heavily theory-based. More industry-relevant topics should be introduced earlier. The curriculum provides a solid foundation, but real-world applications are limited. Design engineering projects and internships help, but more industry collaborations and case studies would improve practical learning. Many subjects feel academic rather than job-oriented, making self-learning essential for actual career preparation.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 1600 per sem that's cover everything, admission fee is 2000 and no other fees to pay and for girls there's no fees and I'm in obc category so I get 10000 scholarship and for general students there no scholarship scheme and for sc/st students they get around 25000 scholarship.

Campus Life

5

There are many fun activities in my collage like fresher party, annual party, games(escape the maze, hunt games etc.) gaming events like bgmi and cs tournament. And there are many clubs like robotics club, cultural club, social club and overall you'll learn many things.

Admission

I appiled in nirma collage, ahmedabad and got selected for civil course but I didn't choose nirma because the fees are to much and I choose VGEC over nirma because of gtu. To get admission in VGEC you have to score good marks in 12th and gujcet or jee mains after that you selected according to your merit

Faculty

5

Faculties are so good per subject 2-3 professor and their teaching skills are good also they are very kind help everytime. Also per sem there's mid exam then viva and after that university exam. I like every faculty all are good in my branch

Interview Experience

5

There's no interview in selection process. The student who want to get admission in VGEC college must have to come in merit through gujcet or jee mains. I got admission through gujcet and then apply in acpc rounds and according to cut off you'll get branch related.

Night Life

5

Night time is so good because everything around my college gym, library, mall, PVR etc. there is no time to enter or leave campus you can come in campus at midnight, the area of my collage is between Chandkheda so it's very safe people are roaming around at midnight to so no need to worry

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college ranking was good. The curriculum was avg, because they primerily focus on theorical knowledge. The course should focus on real world frameworks and tools and on hands on skills. Difficulty level is moderate.

this is tier 3 collage of surat so don't expect higer placements and big mnc come for the placements, in my placements they commited over 25+ local companies come from surat but actually only 15 has come and only 20 students got placement accross over 200 students(computer + IT). and the average placement is 2.5 lakh oper year. and most of the companies are red flag because they want students to sign 1-2 year bond with very low salary. then lets about training for placement, its ZERO big ZERO they dont provided the placement training, i have seen 90 students from 120 gets failed in apptitude round. they have not provided training for cracking the coding interview only those students are placed who have done preparation by it self even 9+ CGPA students didn't get placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is actually pretty nice . Subjects are tought according to the needs but the problem is about they do not update course according to the needs like `right now everyone should know how to use AI tools well , these small thing should also include in it. Apart from technical subjects they also have communication , ethics , personality developemt as a subject too but with less credits.
