Is Kerala Private Engineering colleges good??

Actually I purposelyfully took this course as everybody .It has lots of subjects around 56 I guess in 4 years.In this only 5 to 7 subjects are hardly required for an engineer.Others are just for practical knowledge or to boost some skills some are just useless.Syllabus is actually outdated that's the main reason for unemployment in our country.Engineers being unemployed after graduating even though we have been through lots of phases .Its just because outdated syllabus it must be changed and bring more useful new technology related subjects.And must provide everything to get a job not just to byheart and to get good cgpa.Cgpa doesn't matter if we have good skills.

Colleges provides internships for every departments mainly in summer .It provides activity points and all.Comapnies include NEST . Students should do projects and submit in the deadline.Especially for 3rd years .

College actually provides placements in all the departments.During covid pandemic around 85% from ECE department was placed .After the pandemic placement decreased for ECE just because of the lack of soft skills .Whereas computer science department has always 90%placements even now.Even civil and mecha getting placed in fields and proper automobile companies.

In case of merit students the fee is 75000 but the students should pay 90000 or something which includes tution fees and other fees.Management students must pay 1,40000 per year along with 25,000 hostel fees as if for me hostel fees decrease with each year now my hostel fee is 16,000 per year but must pay 2000,3000,4000 every month for food .For NRI students their fee is 200000 or more.Scholarship is provided for only federal working parents and for those whose income is less than certain extent.Fees for those students will be 30000.Some students fee may be paid buy some people inorder to help them.Every department provides scholarship even their hostel fees is also less that means 1000 per month.

College provides tech fests as per KTU(Kerala Technological University) in every even semesters ( February to April).My college has bharatham it's an intercollege fest and it's kinda grand and great artists may perform like DJ,Concert etc.Bharatham is conducted only in alternative years.We also have ' Arang' it's a cultural fest conducted in every year.Also have shristi the tech fest.We have digital library which has almost all the books needed.

Hostel is comparatively good .But during summers the water will get polluted and causes vomiting and stomach pain it was the biggest incident happened in the college almost for 100 students .Quality of food is good.

Admission is through Keam exams and certain cut off for each department cut off is more for Computer science department.My college is a private colleges .It provides placement training and proper labs and good teaching.I could have got better government colleges of I have worked more .But I don't actually regret.My college is one of the best private colleges in Kerala with 4 th ranking and NBA and NAAC accredited.

Faculties are strict but as we become 3rd years they are more amicable .My favorite teachers are Karthika miss from 1st year then I like Gayathri miss she is like a mother for us.She is our group advisor too.She is just innocent.And give advises if needed .There are also some faculties who we can't even approach.But it's ok af if now.Also our HOD is a cool gentle man .

Actually girls should enter the hostel by 6:00 and for boys it's 8:00.This is something I don't like about.Why do boys have all the fun?.We actually don't have a night life !!.We order food from outside or from canteen which includes Alfam,noodles, biriyani and some snacks.Canteen is actually good to spare our time.
