Course Curriculum Overview
Course is very relevant . It is based on the csir net and gate syllabus so it will definitely help in competitive exams . 4 th sem 3 months is internship or project which gives real world experience . I would suggest to increase the internship time.
Fees and Financial Aid
First year - 80000 Second year - 74000 Fees for students who did their undergraduate in st Joseph's was slightly lesser . For students from different states and NRI fees was slightly higher for first year. College provides scholarship. There's merit based , economic help .
Campus Life
There are many fests held in college . Prathiba - intra collegiate. Visages - intercollegiate Department fest - Alchemy Library facilities are great with wide accessibility of books and journals. College encourages sports and extracurricular activities
Admission
I choose this college based on the feedback I got from my friends who were studying in st Joseph's. I found fee was reasonable and course relevant. Admission process is fully online. It was merit based and online interview.
Faculty
Ratio - 1:6 Teachers are down to earth and very approachable. They also have faculty mentors who track students progress. Exams per semester. One midsem One end sem Two class assessment which can be test or assignment.
Night Life
College has gym facilities , but the timings is not flexible. Cafeteria is good. Campus timings are strict. Only boys hostel is in the campus. Magis block - sports block , Arrupe canteen , pg quadrangle and canteen are the hangout places in campus
