Course Curriculum Overview

4

It covers core topics such as network security, and cloud computing, infotech and sdn emerging technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence are taught in they are two exams midsem and endsem. midsem is of 30 marks whereas endsem is of 50 marks. the difficulty is mediocre. lab endsems are pretty tough for all semesters. midsem occurs between the sem and endsem at the end. midsem is of 1.5 hrs and endsem of 3 hrs

Internships Opportunities

3

I have not opted for any internships but various companies visit here for internships such as Microsoft, adobe, amazon, uber, cisco summer internship, gsoc. they offer various tasks according to your subsystems. various projects include making and deploying CRUD apps, web dev apps, ML stuff. stipend usually varies from 1k to 2L per month according to the companies they are in

Placement Experience

5

you can sit for placements if you didn't have any re-registrations for backlog subjects prior to the interview. also, some companies set some minimum criteria to be able to be eligible for the interview like cg above 8.5,7.5.etc. I would be listing companies that hire with respective to my branch. companies like Microsoft hire for 51LPA, Amazon for around 30-40LPA, cisco for 20-25 LPA, wipro, tcs, Blackrock, palo alto also came last year highest is Microsoft which comes every year and the average is around 17lpa for cce. here there is not 100% placement instead 85% or 75%. I would go on for master's in computer science after I have earned some amount of money after my placements

Fees and Financial Aid

caution fees: 10000 tuition fees: 1st year fee : (tuition fee) 343000+(other fee)207000 = 560000 2nd year fee: (tuition fee) 343000+(other fee)207000 = 560000 total fee: 2240000 there are no other categories in our college other than general

Campus Life

5

campus life here is the best. you get so many options for food inside and outside the campus. 3 food courts and around 8 messes.there are mainly 2 major college fests held here one is revels and other is tech tatva. revels is held around march and is a recreational fest where we have concerts and other things. tech tatva held in around September is a more of a technical fest which organizes the famous m# hackathon.there are a total of 3 libraries here in manipal which the student library is the closest to campus

Hostel Facilities

3

mess food quality is good whereas the a la carte would be better of course.menu is vast. we have a total of 8 messes total inside in the campus out of which 2 are food courts and are very big. there are total 22 hostel block and they are pretty affordable starting at 97k for triple sharing common washroom and ending at ac single sharing attached bath for 2.2L . most affordable one is the double ac attached one for 1.5L.

Admission

i choose srm and mit wpu and even got excepted , I opted for cse cyber security in both the colleges . but I knew manipal was better than them after all , even a 11th grader would tell a difference between a tier 2 college and tier 3s. i wanted to go to bits and iits but I couldn't as I didn't scored well in bitsat and I didn't even got selected for jee advance. you can enter our college through an entrance exam known as met. its not that hard its the same level as jee mains. i would say even lower than jee mains. after you get selected, you would have to pay 10k as a caution money deposit, then you would be able to sit for counseling and branch upgradation before coming to the college. and also, you would have to attend a seminar and a document verification by physically coming to the campus.

Faculty

5

Faculty is outstanding and approachable. in fact, if you want to research some topics under faculties you can easily approach them for research you can reach or contact them at any working hour during the day. exams are pretty tough and checking is also pretty strict. it depends totally upon the subjects for their difficulty. like for example in first year there is FE fundamental of electronics in which the pass rate is 50% whereas in English its 85%.

Night Life

5

there are 2 gyms inside the campus and another one known as marena outside the campus which takes 3k per months for basic plan. there are cafeterias in ab5 and ab2 and one opposite to ab2 and also one near the library. library closes off at 11:30pm at night. hostel in timing is 11:30 whereas campus in trimming is 10:30pm inside campus student plaza is the most busiest place and the most beautiful and people often go there to have fun. there are guards everywhere in the campus so its safe

the placement rate says 100% but you have to be maintaining 7.25 cgpa in order to sit for the placements and they are classified into 1) mass recruiters 2) dream companies3) superdream companies for which you will need 9 and above cgpa. i personally am dependent on placement or i also am appearing for the GATE entrance exam in my 3rd year as well as my 4th year and will see where life leads me but honestly i just want to start working and gaibn indstry experience and make money and develop skills faster

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.
