Remarks

I did not get any rejection from other colleges. I got a seat in stanley engineering college through counselling in the course computer engineering but i chose this college because it is one of the top colleges and faculty and placements are good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspects pf the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course are proper labs and placement opportunities. We are also given real world mini projects and major projects for knowing all the applications of the market.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year- wise fees i am paying right now is 365000 beacuse i am an NRI student. However, the fee structure for every student might be different. The tuition fees in general for any student from any branchi is 160000. We also have caution fees, registration fees for exams which is 2000, lab fees which is included in the exam fees. There are 6 branches for BE. They are cse, it, ece, eee, mechanical and civil engineering. The highest fee is for cse which is computer science and engineering. For a management seat, we are supposed to pay 8 to 10 lakhs or even more and pay yearly tuition fees for the rest 4 years. It decreases for other brances. The management fee differs but the tuition fee is same. Cse has highest fees because it is the course in demand. There are also scholarships for SC, ST and BC.

Campus Life

The names of the annual and technical festivals are sangamam etc. The library in our college consists of good books. There are also sports meets and other curricular activities. There are few clubs like the drama club, dance club, etc.

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship is good enough and the faculty are approachable.There are 2 internal exams for a semester and finally the end semester. We also have lab internals and externals. The exams are not so tough that we fail.

Night Life

Mvsr engineering college consists of hostels for girls and boys nearby to the college. We do not have any gym facilities but the canteen and library areas are good enough. The famous hangout place in the college is the ground.

The expected truth

Placement Experience:

From 3.1 the students of the campus are eligible for placements and faculty also helps us in guiding regarding the placemnsts and stuff . There are various number of companies like tcs , Accenture , google ,Microsoft ,next wave and etc . The offered packages are full like our seniors are 100 percent placed from the campus . The highest package of last year senior is 14lpa.my plans after getting degree is to work in the company which I have been placed

placement scenario at mu is developing but not yet at the level one would expect from an institute that markets itself as industry alligned , while there are some good opportunities , overall placement perfomance is average eligibility: student become elgible for campus placements in 7th semester aptitude training , pre placement talks usually begin in 6th semester companies visited tech mahindra , infosys , tcs , cognizant , accenture , hexaware highest package 12 - 14 LPA avg package 4-6 LPA PLACEMENT RATE ; around 65 -70 % for cse and related branches , for non cse percentage is significantly lower since placement scene isnt very strong i plan to prepare for gate or gre , explore certifications in data science or ai or possibly apply for research based ms programs

My BTech experience at CMR Technical Campus 21-25 batch

Placement Experience:

Around 40% to 50% of students get placed in entire college. It is totally based on the skill of the student if students has very good skill training and placement officer also offers to apply for companies which only takes skilled students the college is totally computer science and only one section has ECE which is comparatively has less placements compared to other deparments since there is no computer science background this is the drawback for taking Electronics and Communication but if students are skilled in the Electronics backgroung Veda IIT which provides internship and job oppurtunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems but the student has to be a skilled person in the electronics subjects.
