Campus critic

The curriculum of electrical engineering is up to date and quite good. I choose this course because there is a good job opportunity for electrical Engineer in government sector. Semester examination paper are mostly belongs to class notes. If someone are continually revising the class notes then they score good marks in examination.

College provided internship in third year to every student. Generally college committee provide Internships in NTpc, powergrid and some others private company. College also send their students to IIT and nit as a research intern in this big colleges.if you want to work as a intern in MNC then you must need to give your full potential.

Students are eligible for placement in 3rd year but college only help 4th year student in their placement.3rd placement depend on your potential. Major recruiter of this college is infosys,jindal steel , britannia,Wagah limited, Hindustan Unilever Limited etc..the package of this college is twenty one lakh acquired by chemical engineering student.and average package is 6lakhs.

Our college campus is so good and very big (459acres),it is full of lust green campus.The college management provided all basic facilities like Gym, swimming pool, sports ground, badminton court, volleyball court, basketball court, swimming pool, shopping complex,health centre etc..Labs facilities are quite good.

College management provided well equipped library with a lots of engineering books. They also provided digital library facility.apart from this there is a self study centre in this college.there are mainly two event happens in our college one is techfest sliet and another is cultural event call as madhuram. tech-fest happens in month of October while madhuram will be in April. there are 32 club runs in our college.some prominent clubs are Mavericks, Endeavours both are technical,cycle one (NHPC funded) Literary club,hindi club,happy club, NCC, NSS, out of 32 club more than 50 percent are inactive club.

For 1st and 2nd year student there is single room alloted for 3 student.room size is too good.If your Sgpa is good then you got a single room in third year otherwise you must share your room.all the basis facilities like wifi,fan,light, charging plug provided by college committee.mess food is not so good .mess contractor changed in every semester.it is difficult to got rented a room or pg near by the college because this college completely lies in a village.

I got this college through jee mains marks and jossa counselling. This college is central government funded college and comes Under GFTI .My jee mains score was quite good and I also appeared for jee advanced examination. so i didnot goes for any private college for my admission in b.tech. I rejected some college like Tezpur University, nifft and few colleges from northeast and south India. I don't get any seat in NIT college because my jee mains score was not that good so i did not got any seat in jossa and csab counselling to get admission to nit college.

Most of the faculty member are good and experienced. But majority of the faculty member are very strict regards the attendance.if attendance is less then 75 percent it might possible they detained you.faculty student ration is good.his behaviour towards the student is also good except in few cases.In a semester there is 3 exam minor 1,minor 2 ,major /end semester.major is of 50 marks and 15 for each minor.there is 10 marks for assignment and 2 quizes of 10 marks .for quiz best of one is taken for Sgpa calculation.quizs are much tougher than major or minor paper.I my batch 95 percent student pass the semester examination.

College campus life is not so good.girl hostel generally closes at 7:00 pm .and if we talk about boys hostel it closes at 10 pm but if we want to leave outside the hostel for whole night then we must need to take permission from hostel warden.college main gate open for local people so it's a negative point for student perspective.there is a gym , shopping complex, restaurant in the college campus.all event generally happens in days timing .shops and chai coffee shop generally shut down after 10 pm.
