college is located in roorkee , uttarakhand , which is a very beautiful place . generally, bihar students come here due to the bihar gov scholarship scheme
all faculty here are highly educated and have expertise in their field
infrastructure is average . college is of 30 acres

Dislikes

the marking scheme here is very hard . and the papers set here is hard to pass
another issue is hostel timings. there are restrictions to go out after 6-7 pm for girls

Course Curriculum Overview

i chose bachelor's of technology in electronics and communication engineering as i have keen interest in chip designing and robotics. here in rit there is specialisation course also that is ece++ in which we learn advanced industry ready learning

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 520000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1. year wise fees is 1,30,000 for ece++ and for ece it is 1,10,000 . 2. tuition fees is 1,30,000 , registration fees is 25,000 , admission fees is 10,000 , exam fees is 12,200 and uniform fees is 8,000. 3. There is a 10% discount for army personnels. 4. scholarships based on 12th marks , jee rank and bank loans is available for btech courses

Campus Life

rit have a lot of fests. when i came to the college we had 3 day induction program and a DJ night at evening apart from this i had also went in dandiya night and fresher's party is going to held soon .

Hostel Facilities

hostel food is average . there are different food items everyday . we have breakfast , lunch , snacks and dinner. registration process for hostel is easy just go to admission office locality is good here in roorkee

Admission

i had applied to uttranchal university but rit have NAAC A++ accredition i came to this college because i felt that learning from this college can provide me more quality education other than any college in uttarakhand

Faculty

faculty to student ratio is 1:30 . the relationship to our faculties is very good. they encourage us and are approachable . unlike other colleges our classes are held regularly i won't say that some faculties are bad and some are best , all proffesors here have expertise in their subject there are 2 internals exams and 1 external exam. to pass them 30 marks is required out of 100

Night Life

canteen is average . library of rit is good . there are all kinds of books there and we go to the library for study hostel timings are very strict for girls . in summers it is 7pm and in winters it is 6 pm

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally good for circuital branches but as for lower branches either you have to go in core which is difficult(off campus it is easy , since you have a IIT tag) but non core placements are decents . From 7th semster one become capable for sitting in interviews. Highest package is around 2Cr as for average it ranges between 22-30 lpa Almost 100% students are placed except for those who with thier own startup or try for offcampus placements. My plans are for getting a MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad or Banglore.

BEST COLLEGE

I choose this college over the other college because of thr many reasosns. see i visted many college but i didn't find any college has the good lab faccilities some labs equipments are not working and not scheduled on daily basis equipments are too old and emerging with latest technology trends, also the discipline is not followed in college campus like many are smoking inside the campus but no one is there to stop them.....
