Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum of the collge is overall good when compared to the other competition of the college. The difficult of the exams are median not too much not too each a good engineering college is the way

Fees and Financial Aid

The college infrastructure and fees do not much of a difference the course fees of btech are nearly 8 lakh rupees for a 4-year program like btech. Scholarships is available in the college in various types student get a Scholarship with the merit in jee mains exam and the class merit basis of the Scholarship is also given to the students top 10 students above 8.5 gpa are given which decreases as ur rank in the class. The decrease is gradual

Campus Life

4

Annually fests are conducted named resurrgence and tech fest is also held in the college the fest part of the college is little weak when considered to the other college . Sports fest is also conducted in the college which is decent

Hostel Facilities

4

Room has a bed fan table chair lanport 2 charging port a. 16 amp port lights and wifi available. Meal is decent not too good not too bad Registration process.of the hostel is in campus for.1st year but online 2nd year onwards Can rent a pg or room outside college but it is hards and costs double the hostel charge is not worth it.

Admission

The admission process of the college is generally good when compared to the other colleges the admission is smooth and the college helps in the admission. In csab my aim was to get into pec chandigarh but I missed it by some rank difference and ended up here which i kind regret a bit just a bit

Faculty

4

Course structure of the college is generally upgraded when compared to the other indian engineering college . Student to facility ratio in the college is decent nearly 25 student per teacher is available in the college . In cse dept i prefer teacher like ajay koul sir and manoj gupta sir . And not much liking towards sudesh sir and baijnath Kaushik sir . The hod of the department is good but the lady thinks this is a school and implement things accordingly There are around 1 mid sem 20 marks and 1 end sem 40 marks 4 quizzes 5 marks each and a 20 marks assignment . The overall assesment of the college is good

Night Life

4

Nightlife is dead bro the campus has a nighlife but the outside nightlife is dead bro Gym cafeteria library and public area is a 4 on 5 it is decent enough Hostel timming is not such but campus timing is 9pm for boys . And for girls hostels timming is 8pm and campus timming is 7pm Hangout places are nearby lakes and ponds a small treak and a great trek to Vaishno devi temple Can visit patnitop which is soo close and mountain people can visit here

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
