Course Curriculum Overview
I was a commerce student so, i decided to select the course as it was also very affordable. The course can also be improved by introducing and making digital ways of teaching for directing the student focus to studies
Placement Experience
From the final semester the students become elegible for campus placement, till now as per my knowledge the average package offered to students is 2.5-3lpa. almost more than 70% of the students get placement
Fees and Financial Aid
We only need to pay once every year. For the course that I'm currently availing (bcom), we only needed to pay 5.5k for the first year and each year it decreases. We can also avail the fee waiver scheme if anyone comes under the category of low income family i.e. any child whose parents are earning below 1.5lakh per annum. In that case, you are required to submit some documents in the first year itself, which includes adhar card, bank passbook of the Assam state, birth certificate of the student proving that they are born in assam and a income certificate
Campus Life
There are many occasions that are celebrated, which is freshers fest, typical organized by the seniors for the newcomers, held in June -july. Saraswati puja is also celebrated, so is the death or birth anniversary of great identities.
Admission
I applied to another private college in our town, which is Ramanuj Gupta Senior college. I was selected there as well, but learning about my current college reputation and benefits i decided to take admission here
Faculty
The faculty can be improved both in numbers and in management. There isn't a language barrier between the students and the staff, teacher, officials. The office faculties can be improved as for submission of any form or reciept we have to stand in lines for hours and there's even a possibility that your form couldn't get submitted even after standing the whole day. That problem can be improved by the use of online websites for form and fee submission. For each sem there are 2 exams, 1 internal exam of 14/20 marks and 1 external exam of 50/70 marks. There can also be practical exams for practical subjects. The exams aren't that difficult to clear, there is an exception if someone isn't willing to study.
Night Life
There is a gym provided by the college for the students, there is a cafeteria, girls common room etc. There is a big library provided for the students to get excess in any kind of books and materials required for study.
