- The natural environment is too good , there are big trees planted nd some have grown naturally making it more natureoriented.
- The old buildings which has the memories of old batches
- The teachers of Pol. Sc are really good , caring nd nurturing.
Dislikes
- Unfortunately no good place where we can sit after classes gets over
- Some doors nd windows are broken nd not repaired which gives it tooo bad look
- New toilets nd washroom can be made as they r less as compared to the students nd staff
Course Curriculum Overview
Definitely a good platform. Being a student from Political science ive chosen this subject for real life experiences nd field study... It helps me to know about my recent gov nd explain my opinions by doing youth parliaments nd all I'm benefitted!!
Fees and Financial Aid
During the admission the students having family income less than 500000 are provided free admission other than that every department have different fee structure.... I was from arts so i needed to pay 8750 ... Also as we r under Assam University a fees of 450 is needed to pay..after that when we have separate sem exms a separate amount of 250 is to be paid for college center nd again 450 to Assam University... That it I had no scolarship so have no idea on that :))
Campus Life
We had freshers in the starting time , it was full of fun nd enjoyment, band outside silchar came to give us singing concerts in terms of events college is giving everyone opportunity to show their talents... The infrastructure is little old cz it was the 1st college of silchar so a little damaged but the classses are good to have knowledge so thats all
Admission
I wanted to study in this college, cz it was little difficult for me to study outside cz I'm the only child in my family nd having no elder sibling my parents didn't find happiness on sending me outside... Another reason was definitely financial weakness
Faculty
The facualty members are helpful but ultimately it depends on the students how they want to study and secure good marks, ultimately if the students are not cooperativr nd regulat then no good results can be achieved.
Night Life
Yes, it has canteeen, library, a big field nd a gym Definitely a whole bunch of activities can be done... The gym is good with 2 aunty nd they have good behavior... It has biscuits nd coffee nd also cold drinks so... It is overall good
