University of Allahabad MA Hindi

The course is very relevant to the morden time as it's coveres all the aspects of UPSC Hindi optional eaxm and UGC NET Hindi exam. It's upto date and the exams occurrs on the time. There are subjects like creative writing and hindi patrikarita which prepare the students for the mordern world aspects . But there should improvement in the paper of Hindi language history which should be teached in a thorough manner.

I don't have any intership as there is no internship opportunities for the students in university of Allahabad. The university lacks in this field as it's a major part of the students resume and it's make a Major impact of there future and its among the most and most negative point of the university.

There is a vast variety of companies Visit for the campus placement but the ratio of selected which very less like in my batch of 310 students only 5 were placed having an average placement of 42000 Lpa jobs . Every students of 4th semester is eligible for the campus placement. There is an campus placement cell which inform us about the campus placement news . The percentage of selection is low as the students mostly aims for the government job exams. My plans are to peruse the PhD degree.

I have completed my MA Hindi degree from University of Allahabad in session 2022 to 2024. In my point of view it is the best institute for having and masters degree in Hindi because the curriculum is so well adapted to the current UGC NET - Hindi syllabus which helps students to prepare for the exam with completion of the degrees . Me myself has cleared UGC NET exam twice . The Department of Hindi and morden language has a good atmosphere and a well supporting , friendly teaching staff who will made the subject easy for you . It has a variety of subjects to offer to the students with a vast diversity of subjects as in the fourth semester we have an great option of studying the competative study of Hindi with Telugu , Urdu , Marathi and Bangla . The Department has it's own fully furnished A.C. library with having all the books of Hindi literature . During our time of preparation we used to borrow the books from the library and it was a great aid to our preparation. The Department has it's own semiar hall and has a vast variety of programs and seminars organised by the department which provide a great exposure to the students. As well as various poetry competitions are organised by the teachers of the department. Overall it's has a great variety, and diversity of the subject with a deep knowledge by the teachers.

Mostly there are no festival that occurs in universe which is a very sad thing for us. But the library has a great facility where we get all well upto date journals and books and the staff is very helpful and supporting. And there is a seperate block for the manuscript for the research purpose. Usually the classes are very much old and there is no such technical support there. There are many groups runs by the students which are just so so not on such a great level.

I have applied for University of Allahabad, University of Lucknow and Cuet pg for all other central university. I didn't qualify for the college of my choice from Cuet pg , but qualified for University of Allahabad and University of Lucknow. But I preferred University of Allahabad over University of Lucknow , as the University of Allahabad has a diversity of subjects and the place is more student and study oriented than of Lucknow and has a good atmosphere for the competitive exam that's why I have preferred University of Allahabad over University of Lucknow. University of Allahabad runs it's own entrance exam name pgat in which there is a paper of 300 marks which consists of 100 questions of subject choosen and 50 marks of general aptitude test . After the exam the cutoff is made from the result and then there is calling according to the cutoff list . The admission process was very smooth and easy .

The faculty members are very helpful. Like Mr. Ashutosh Partheswar sir who was very helpful and supporting to students and even give us time after the classes to solve our doubts . The teaching staff always and always support the students and help them in all the possible ways . There is an semester system of 4 semester in which there are 3 internal exams comstising of 20 marks written test , 20 marks assignment and 20 marks of viva voice in which best of 2 is selected and there is an semester exam of 60 marks in each semester. There are 5 paper per semester which is comprising of 20 points which ecah student is needed to be cleared for passing the course .

There is only one canteen there and there is no gym for the students. The university has no entry policy after 5 pm so there is no such night life, the sport stadium is jsut closed all over the year and there is no such facilities for the students. But the hostel life is amazing as they are located in the heart of the city and have a very good atmosphere for the students and have very friendly seniors who helps the students and the juniors. Mainly the boys hostel are opens 24 by 7.
